WORSHIP UPDATE: SUNDAY 14TH JUNE 2026

Our worship on Sunday 14th June will once again take place at Castleford Academy Drama Studio.

Following the ongoing work at our hall, we are grateful to Castleford Academy for continuing to make their facilities available to us while we ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone who attends.

Venue: Castleford Academy Drama Studio.

Access: Via Healdfield Road
taking the first right after Castleford Civic Centre.

Service begins at 10:00am.

We look forward to gathering together for worship and fellowship and thank you all for your continued prayers, patience and support during this time.

We are also pleased to share that we antıcipate making a further announcement early next week regarding the reopening of our building, and we look forward to updating you once everything is confirmed.

REMINDER

Whilst all hall-based activities remain suspended following the recent storm damage, we are pleased to confirm that our Sunday worship will still take place.

We are grateful to Castleford Academy for once again making their Drama Studio available to us. Many will remember this as the venue we used whilst the hall refurbishment works were taking place last summer.

Castleford Salvation Army’s Children & Youth Weekend is coming on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th July 2026!

Join us for a fantastic weekend packed with fun, fellowship, celebration, and opportunities to support our children and young people.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to storm damage sustained overnight,
Castleford Salvation Army will remain closed until further notice while safety assessments and essential checks are carried out.

This means all programme, including Sunday's meeting will be cancelled.

A further announcement regarding next week's activities will be made once we have more information.

We also want to sincerely thank everyone who has already offered support with the clean up process. Your kindness and willingness to help is greatly appreciated. We will be in touch when it is safe and appropriate for this work to take place.

In the meantime, we ask all key holders to please stay away from Castleford Salvation Army until safety assessments have been completed and the premises have been declared safe to enter.

SUNDAY 31ST MAY 2026
Our band and singing company are performing at Queens Park on Sunday afternoon from 3pm, this will still be taking place and will be a good opportunity for us all to gather together.

The Singing Company had an amazing weekend at Blackpool Salvation Army! We sang, danced, and prayed our way through Psalm 150 as we explored our theme: “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”

The young people were incredible, and we loved connecting with the brilliant Blackpool Kids Community Choir. You can catch a glimpse of the weekend in our highlights reel.
