🥁 What a fantastic night with The Gathering Drum! 🥁

Our boys had a brilliant time taking part in a drum circle with Joe from The Gathering Drum! It was loud, noisy, full of energy and most importantly, LOTS of fun! 😄👏

A massive thank you to Joe for a fantastic night and for giving our boys such a brilliant experience. We loved every minute! 🥁🙌

🚒🔥 WHAT A NIGHT AT CARRICKFERGUS FIRE STATION! 🔥🚒

What an incredible night our boys had visiting Carrickfergus Fire Station! 🤩

We got to:
👨‍🚒 Try on the protective clothing firefighters wear to keep themselves safe.
🚒 Explore all the amazing equipment stored on the fire engine.
🧑‍🚒 Climb aboard and sit inside the fire engine!
💦 And BEST OF ALL… have a go with the fire hose and spray some cars! 💧🚗

From our tiniest P1s right through to our oldest boys in Year 12, and even our leaders, there were smiles all round! 😁 It’s safe to say everyone absolutely loved the experience!

We even got to experience the excitement of a real fire call coming in! 🚨 This meant we had to finish our visit a little earlier than planned, but it was fantastic to see the firefighters spring into action and get ready to respond! 👏

A MASSIVE thank you to Phil and all the firefighters at Carrickfergus Fire Station for welcoming us, showing us around and giving us such an unforgettable evening. We really appreciate you taking the time to make it so special for everyone! ❤️

🚒🔥 A few future firefighters in the making here at Downshire BB! 🔥🚒
