As we continue to recognise our volunteers who give their time to serve others in our community, we thank those individuals who run our coffee morning sessions on Wednesday mornings at the hall, providing a warm welcome and a brew! Thank you to all our volunteers who do so many things in the background to support our church.

As we acknowledge volunteers week, we are so thankful for our amazing volunteers who work in our Carnforth Charity Shop and grateful for their time and talents in making the shop a welcoming place to shop.

Each volunteer is a valuable member of the team and we are so pleased to see that the shop also gained a certificate at the local Carnforth Town Council Community Awards, which celebrates local work within this community. Our own Julie, also a volunteer at the shop, collected the award on behalf of the charity shop.

As part of this meeting, we will be having an extra collection for the Candidates fund and for local leadership opportunities, if you would like to contribute in this way.
Our meeting is at the usual time of 10:30am and everyone is welcome to come and spend time in worship together.

140th Aniversary celebrations continued with a fabulous time of worship as we considered the goodness of God throughout the ages. Major Jonny led us through reflections on 'Building on firm foundations, Being faithful followers and Blessings for a fruitful future' whilst Captain Sam introduced us to remember the 'great cloud of witnesses' who have brought us to this point in serving the Lord, alongside some favourite songs.
