Newyddion Teuluol UBC / BUW Family News

Gyda thristwch mawr y cyhoeddwn farwolaeth ein ffrind a chyd-weithiwr annwyl Mrs Helen Wyn.

Roedd Helen yn aelod gwerthfawr o dîm Swyddfa UBC ac yn uchel ei pharch ym mhlith teulu'r Bedyddwyr.

Fel Cydlynydd Y Gorfforaeth, roedd Helen wedi cynorthwyo nifer fawr o eglwysi, gweinidogion ac aelodau ledled Cymru - a'i chyngor doeth a'i chyfeillgarwch yn fendith i gynifer ohonom a gwelwn ei heisiau yn fawr iawn.

Cofiwn yn dyner am ei Eirian a Fflur a'r teulu cyfan yn eu colled. Diolchwn am ei ffydd gadarn yn Iesu - yr un a wasanaethodd mor ffyddlon. Gweddïwn y bydd gobaith ei ffydd hi yn gysur i'w theulu a'i hanwyliaid yn y dyddiau a ddaw.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our friend and colleague, Mrs Helen Wyn.

Helen was a much-loved member of the BUW office team and greatly respected by the Baptist family throughout Wales.

As Corporation Coordinator, Helen provided valuable support to ministers, churches and members across the country. Her wise council and warm friendship have been a blessing to so many and she will be greatly missed.

As a Union, we extend our deepest sympathy to Eirian, Fflur and family. We give thanks for Helen's faith in Jesus Christ - whom she served so faithfully. We pray that hope of the faith which she professed will be a comfort and strength to her family in the days ahead.

Fe’ch gwahoddir yn gynnes i ymuno â gwasanaeth comisiynu ar gyfer y Parch Simeon Baker fel Ysgrifennydd Cyffredinol newydd Undeb Bedyddwyr Cymru. Bydd y gwasanaeth yn gyfle i weddïo dros yr Undeb a dros Simeon wrth i ni nodi’r bennod newydd hon yn ein bywyd gyda’n gilydd.

Cawsom raglen fendithiol ac amrywiol wrth i ni ddod at ein gilydd fel teulu ffydd Bedyddiedig o bob cwr o Gymru. Mwy i ddod heno wrth i ni groesawu ein Llywydd newydd: Y Barch. Ddr Rosa Hunt.

We have enjoyed a varied programme so far, with more to come tonight as we welcome our President for the coming year: Rev. Dr. Rosa Hunt.

Eleni rydym yn lansio dau gynllun hyfforddiant newydd ochr yn ochr: un Flwyddyn wedi’i lleoli yn Eglwys y Bedyddwyr Caersalem (iaith Gymraeg), a’r llall yng Nghymanfa Bedyddwyr Gwent (iaith Saesneg). Bydd y ddau yn dechrau ym mis Medi 2026

Last weekend, over 200 people came together for the Momentum conference at the Halliwell, Carmarthen. Here were some of our highlights...

✔️We LOVED the inspiring worship and sessions led by friends from across Wales (and beyond... BMS World Mission)
✔️We didn't simply LOVE the great teaching from Dot Tyler 24-7 Prayer GB but also the opportunity to meaningfully engage with prayer together (including in Momentum's very own prayer room)
✔️We LOVED meeting friends old and new!
✔️We LOVE that the journey isn't over (more to come in 2027: watch this space...)

Penwythnos diwethaf, daeth dros 200 o bobl ynghyd ar gyfer cynhadledd Momentum. Dyma rai o'r pethau y gwnaethom ni fwynhau y mwyaf...
