We are super excited to let you know about a brand new Scripture Union Scotland group starting TOMORROW in Carluke High.

The group will be led by one of our youth, Miriam, who is an S6 at the school and has trained to be an SU group leader.

We are super proud of Miriam and are sure this group will be a huge success.

Please share this post and if you/your kids would like to study the bible, learn more about Jesus and make some new friends at school then SU lunch club is the place to be. 🥳

We’re recruiting for our Overnight Welcome Centre this winter.

As the colder months approach, we’re looking for people to join our team and help provide a warm, safe and welcoming environment for people at risk of rough sleeping in Glasgow.

We’re currently recruiting for a range of fixed-term roles:
• Assistant Manager
• Housing Settlement Officers
• Overnight Team Leaders
• Overnight Team Members
• Assistant Project Worker
• Weekend Project Worker

Roles include a variety of daytime, evening, overnight and weekend working patterns.

We’re looking for people who are passionate about tackling homelessness and who can build positive relationships with people experiencing difficult and complex circumstances. We also welcome applications from those with lived experience of homelessness or asylum and immigration.

A huge thank you to everyone who was involved in refurbishing the front of the church. An amazing job carried out by members of the church. We thank God for your talents and that you are willing and able to use them to further his work.

Latest update on Trevor.

Trevor now has had a tracheostomy inserted and they have been weening him off the ventilator.
He coped with 2 hours on Sunday and was able to follow commands by nodding his head.
Everything seems stable at the moment and PTL he was responsive.

We continue to ask you to pray for Trevor's recovery, the medical team caring for him, and Diane and the family.

We give thanks to our amazing God who is in control.
