Canopy is the annual Baptist Union of Scotland summer gathering. A few of us joined our wider church family on Saturday to share in worship, teaching, fellowship and celebration - a fantastic day....and the ice cream also went down very well!

☀️ CANOPY 2026 - The Bible is Trending: How do we Respond? ☀️

What an incredible day! 🙌🏼

Over 450 of you travelled from all over Scotland to gather and we are so thankful for each one of you who came with such openness!

As a family of churches, we learned, shared, prayed with each other, worshipped, enjoyed ice cream, and were deeply encouraged to hear so many stories of faith, hope, and increase!

We also celebrated the ministry of two retiring ministers, as well as the accreditation of two ministers and recapped on the new young adults initiatives - INVEST! 💜

So thankful to God and to everyone who made Canopy 2026 happen! 😄🤩

Sunday 14th June – Praise Evening at 7.00pm in Carstairs Church.

Please join us for an evening of praise and worship.
We will be joined by a speaker from Glasgow Street Pastors
who will share the work they do on the Streets of Glasgow.
There will be a retiral offering in aid of the Street Pastor.
Bring your friends along with you.
If you haven’t been before, please be assured of a very warm welcome.
There will be a time of fellowship over tea/coffee and cake.

Have we lost our connection with God? Are we so busy that we crowd Jesus right out of our schedule? The good news is Jesus is never actually lost, but right there where we left Him. Is it time to turn off our phones, stop having a full schedule, and to schedule more time with the Lord?

God is ALWAYS with you. Speak to Him! He's listening!
