From Monday 4th May to Friday 8th May Carlisle is having a free walking festival. What a great opportunity to get out enjoy our wonderful city, exercise and meet some new people. What’s not to like about that? And one of the walks even includes some free cake. You do have to book onto them though and this can be done by emailing [email protected]

Not quite finished yet... but big changes already! ✨️
Our main hall has been undergoing renovation to make it a more accessible and versatile space. Services have been running as usual, with building work and decorating taking place during the week.
We pray that God renews and blesses us as we renew the building and that we will continue to strive to be a welcoming church and a light to our community 🙏

Today we remembered all the women in our lives who have nurtured us in one way or another - to the mothers, grandmother's, sisters, aunts, friends and colleagues in our lives who are special to us, we thank God for you ❤️🌹🌼❤️

10 months out of 12, on the first Sunday of the month, we have a lovely big church lunch after our 11am family service and everyone is invited!
It is really the best time to get to know everyone and settle down for a proper chat over a yummy plate of food.

I recently spent time with the team at Hebron Evangelical Church Carlisle to see the vital support they provide through their Mealbank and Connect rooms.

It is more than just a hot meal. It is a space where people facing homelessness or loneliness can find clothing, toiletries, and company. Many of the volunteers started as guests themselves, which speaks volumes about the community they have built. A huge thank you to everyone at Hebron for the dignity, care, and compassion they provide.
