We're delighted to invite all our young people to an exciting weekend away filled with fun, friendship, worship, great food and time to grow together in our faith.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of St John's in the Vale, this promises to be a fantastic weekend with plenty of opportunities to relax, enjoy activities, make new friends and spend time exploring God's Word together.

We're especially pleased to welcome Esther Newton as our guest speaker, who will be sharing with us throughout the weekend.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful evening together of reminiscing, celebration and thankfulness for all God has done and will continue to do in and through Hebron - its building and resources, but more importantly, its people. Thank you for being a part of 107 years of Hebron in Carlisle! ❤️

Main Hall Grand Opening

This  Friday 17th July,  from 7.30-9.00 pm, we will gather together for the Grand Opening of the Main Hall. It's an opportunity to celebrate what God has done and the people who have been involved in many ways over the course of the project. It's looking great, isn't it?

It's also an opportunity to praise and thank God for all he has done in Hebron and through the work in the community over the last 100-plus years. We didn't get to celebrate our centenary as we had hoped because of Covid, so we'll take this opportunity to do that too. Please come along and join us as we celebrate God's faithfulness to us.

All church lunches are special, but today's was an extra special one, giving thanks for the Downie family and their invaluable contribution to Hebron over more than a decade. We pray that God blesses them abundantly in their future endeavours! 🙏❤️

⛔️🚧🌙 NIGHT-TIME ROAD CLOSURE – U154 Crown Street, Carlisle 🌙🚧⛔️

🕕 Working Hours: 18:00 – 01:00
🚧 Road Closure in Place Until 03:00 Each Night

Cumberland Council will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing works on U154 Crown Street, Carlisle.

These essential maintenance works are expected to take 5 nights, subject to weather and site conditions.

📍 Location of works:
U154 Crown Street, Carlisle

⚠️ Traffic Management:
A full night-time road closure will be in place to allow the works to be completed safely.

🔄 Diversion Route:
A signed diversion route will be in operation throughout the works.

🚲 A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will BE MAINTAINED at all times.

ℹ️ The road will remain closed until 03:00 each night to allow for site clearance and material curing.

Next month, instead of our usual church lunch, we are inviting everyone to bring a picnic lunch and join us at Bitts Park after our 11am service. Let's hope the weather stays glorious! 🌞🥪😎

From Monday 4th May to Friday 8th May Carlisle is having a free walking festival. What a great opportunity to get out enjoy our wonderful city, exercise and meet some new people. What’s not to like about that? And one of the walks even includes some free cake. You do have to book onto them though and this can be done by emailing [email protected]

Not quite finished yet... but big changes already! ✨️
Our main hall has been undergoing renovation to make it a more accessible and versatile space. Services have been running as usual, with building work and decorating taking place during the week.
We pray that God renews and blesses us as we renew the building and that we will continue to strive to be a welcoming church and a light to our community 🙏

Speaker Richard Underwood will be exploring how God's Living Word the Bible can both explain and offer freedom from the Shame we all feel.
