A huge thank you to everyone who came and supported the Burns Night at the hall on Friday.
Also to everyone who contributed food, raffle prizes and help behind the scenes in the kitchen and bar, your help is invaluable and very much appreciated, without you all these events just wouldn't happen!
Just over £740 was raised which will go towards the day to day running costs of St. Mary's, thankyou all again and hope you all had a lovely evening

A massive thank you to all who came and supported St Mary's Church Christmas Fair earlier today. A grand total of £600 was raised for Church funds.
It is especially nice so many children from Shankhill CE Primary came and sang so beautifully so special thanks to them and to Mrs Batey and Miss Powly who accompanied the performance.
The winner of the Christmas Cake lucky squares was Isabelle Coulthard with Joanne Teford second.
Thanks also to Stuart Lake for opening the event and running the raffle. And all who helped and contributed in any way.

The next PCC event at the hall will be the Burns Night on 23rd January, get in touch with me or committee members for details and bookings.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who came to the hall and supported the Harvest Supper hosted by St. Mary's Church PCC. last night.
Thank you also to everyone who helped out in any way doing all the preparation and behind the scenes stuff, too many to mention but you know who you are. 😊
It was a lovely evening and so nice to catch up with friends and neighbours, eat some food and have a good old natter and raise just over £1000.00 a fabulous amount that will help keep St.Mary's ticking over.

The PCC of St.Mary's Church Stapleton and helpers would like to say a massive Thank You to everyone who contributed in any way to the
Annual Stapleton and Solport Parish Show
on Saturday 6th September.
It was lovely to see such a huge array of entries, from flowers and vegetables to cakes, biscuits and preserves with some excellent items in the children's section.
The committee are happy to report that a little over £900.00 was raised on the day, this will go towards the day to day upkeep of St. Mary's.
