Cardross Parish Church This is the page for Cardross Parish Church, a public place where we can share our news, pictures and information.

Cardross Parish Church is a community based Church located on the banks of the river Clyde, about 18 miles west of Glasgow between Dumbarton and Helensburgh. We are a small, yet thriving parish church and we interact with, and play a central part, in the life of the community of Cardross. We come together every Sunday morning for worship at 11am except during the school summer holidays when our wo

rship is at 10.30am. Families are particularly welcome and there is activities for children of all ages each Sunday and Messy Church for families once a month on a Saturday morning. Our minister is the Reverend Margaret McArthur. We warmly welcome all visitors to our Church and in particular encourage young families to join us to participate in the life of our Church where you will always find a warm and friendly welcome.

"When Pentecost day came round, they had all met in one room, when suddenly they heard what sounded like a powerful wind from heaven, the noise of which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and something appeared to them that seemed like tongues of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak foreign languages as the Spirit gave them the gift of speech." Acts 2: 1-6

MESSY CHURCH had some special visitors last Saturday. Stella Kinloch kindly brought along a 4 day old lamb and two 3 week old Border Collie sheepdog puppies from her farm. The wee lamb and puppies behaved beautifully and there was no end of volunteers offering to take them home at the end of the day, especially Tom and Lynda! A big thank you to Muirhead’s Dairy for providing us with some of their wonderful milk to make milkshakes which we all enjoyed at lunchtime.

Hi Folks just a wee reminder that Messy Church is on this Saturday. As Spring is with us we are looking at the theme of new life. We will have a lamb visiying along with two pups that are being hand reared who may need to be fed. We will also have a milk bar on the go and a light lunch together. We look forward to seeing you and all are welcome.
