Born Again Christians Hi, I'm Peter from Scotland! Welcome to our page, where we foster fellowship in Word & Spirit. What does it mean to be born again? All men are sinners. Absolutely!

Through Spirit-led expository teaching, we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and uplift His Church to grow in faith together. Obviously you can’t be physically ‘born again’ so we’re talking about a spiritual birth. Before we accept Christ as our Saviour we are spiritually dead to sin. We are born sinners and even if we try to be a ‘good’ person we will fall short of what God requires for an eternal

place in Heaven with Him. We are unable to enter through any works of our own or our own self righteousness. Before Jesus Christ was born, a little over 2000 years ago, God’s people were unable to enter directly into God’s presence. They were under the law and had to rely on animal sacrifices to atone for their sin. They relied on the chief priests to make atonement for them as a nation by observing religious festivals that were ordained by God. Then, Jesus Christ paid the price for mans sin once and for all on the cross at Calvary. When He submitted to the will of the Father and shed His blood on that cross He made a way for each of us to enter into God’s presence. Jesus is the mediator between man and God. When we acknowledge His sacrifice and accept Him as our personal Lord and Saviour we are ‘covered’ by the blood He shed on the cross for us. We are born again! Can anyone be born again? The Bible ~ Gods written word to us ~ says quite clearly that all who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13) In essence that’s what becoming a born again believer is about. It’s acknowledging sin in our life and recognising that only through Christ can we be made holy (pure) before God. Only then can we rest in the assurance that we are eternally saved. You may have come to this site out of interest in the Christian faith, just happened across it while browsing or feel you’ve been drawn to it by some external force. Whatever brought you here I pray you’ll stay a while, read the messages and listen to some of the great Bible teachings available through the links on this site. In the future I will be adding my own messages but please listen and watch the recommended media and I pray you will be blessed by them and convicted.

This past week I visited Bethesda Christian Fellowship in Helensburgh and had the joy of hearing from Good News For Everyone (still known by many as the Gideons). Two faithful brothers who have served the Lord in this ministry for many decades came and shared such encouraging testimonies.

My heart was truly blessed, bringing a tear to my eye.

You know, over thirty years ago, I had backslidden and found myself deep in alcohol and a sinful lifestyle. But the Lord reached down and drew me back.

The Holy Spirit would convict my heart, and I would open the help sections in that Gideons Bible. There I would confess my sins, and the Lord was so faithful to restore and cleanse me.

I thank God for the work of Good News for Everyone and their simple but powerful ministry of placing God’s Word into the hands of people who need Him.

𝐀 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭:

Right now, the work of Bible distribution is struggling in the Dumbarton area. If you’re local and have a heart to serve the Lord in this way, or if you know someone who does, would you please get in touch or leave a comment below?

We would love to see the Lord raise up willing workers to get Bibles into hotels, hospitals, schools, and people’s hands once again.

If you don’t have a Bible, or know someone who needs one, Good News for Everyone have been used mightily by the Lord, just ask!

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” (Psalm 119:105 NKJV)

Keep looking to Jesus, folks! He is still saving, still restoring, and still building His church.
