Thought for the Week - Feeling lost?
Recently over 200 pairs of shoes were washed up on the beach at Ogmore by the sea.
They were Victorian hobnail shoes and were found during a beach clean up session.
It is thought that the shoes were from a shipwreck about 150 years ago.
Where had they been for 150 years, and why did they reappear now?
Sometimes, as Christians, we may feel that God has vanished, especially during times of suffering or unanswered prayers.
However, we must remember that this is not God leaving us, but as the personal perception of the individual.
Often God ‘reappears’ when we have a renewal of faith or when we least expect him to.
Let us therefore remember that God is with us always, even when we think he has left us.
