Everyone is welcome at our confirmation service tomorrow! We have Archbishop Cherry leading and preaching as people from across the Ministry Area are confirmed.

The service is at 10.30am at St Mary’s in Marshfield. There isn’t a service at St Michael’s tomorrow as we join together for the confirmation.

Do join us as we celebrate with those being confirmed, with communion and wonderful music! Stay afterwards for refreshments.

Big thanks to the folks at City Coast Church in Brighton. A large group from their church were meant to be at Big Church Festival this weekend and they weren’t going to be having a Sunday service.

After the tragic events there, the church made the decision to hold a service and invite any visitors who were meant to be at Big Church. This morning we experienced a wonderful time of worshipping together, lifting up the name of Jesus and praying for those affected at Big Church. Great hospitality too!

If you enjoyed the recent ‘The Rapture’ series on BBC you would have recognised some familiar sights!
St Michael’s, MYF, was used as a filming location and features in episodes 4 and 5. The series is available to watch on Iplayer.

Church is cool!

Words you may not have heard together in a sentence before but it is!

The building is also cooler than the outside temperature. You would be welcome to join us for our communion service at 11.15am tomorrow.

Summer service and picnic update

Due to the weather forecast for tomorrow morning showing the likelihood of rain, we have decided to postpone the planned outdoor service and picnic.

We do have our regular service of holy communion in church at 11.15am. All welcome, it would be lovely to see you!
