The Gospel is not good advice - it's good news!

Hope this reminder encourages you as the week closes. It is already done.

Join us on Sunday for services at 9.15am, 11.15am or 6.30pm - we would love to see you!

Just a reminder that we will be having two services as normal on Sunday but there are road closures around the church due to the Cardiff Half Marathon, so you might need to do a little extra planning before heading to join us!

Head to https://www.cardiffhalfmarathon.co.uk/event-info/road-closures/ to find all the road closures.

We are looking forward to seeing you!

On Sunday Dave started a short series about what it means to be gospel people. We started this week with looking at what it means to be 'people of the book'.

God loves us and has gone to great lengths to communicate with us through His Word. The Bible. It's so important that we spend time reading it and understanding it.

Join us at 9.15 and 11.15 at Highfields church this following Sunday for the next part in this three part series where we explore what is means to be 'people in community'.

This weekend we go back to our two morning services at 9.15am and 11.15am, so make sure to set your alarms!

We'll also be starting a new mini sermon series in the mornings called 'Gospel People' exploring who we are as the people of God. We're really looking forward that start of a new term and all that it might bring!

And don't worry, we'll still have opportunity to connect as a whole church family over tea and coffee between the services!

See you on Sunday!

Come join us for our women’s breakfast exploring the topic of ageing! Inspired by Jen Wilkins new book Dust to Dust, we will look at what the Bible says about ageing and how we can do that in a biblical way that honours God!

Enjoy good food, each others company, get to know each other and chat about this important topic!

September 19th, 8.30am at Highfields Church

Our 20's ministry is restarting next week!

20's is a small group bible study for those in their 20's and we're really looking forward to starting a new year together again soon!
The small groups will be a mixture of men and women, studying God's Word and praying together through all the issues we face in these formative years of life.

We'll be restarting on Thursday 10th September at 7.30pm, in Highfields Church Building. So whether you're returning for another year, or are newly joining, you'd be so welcome!

You can turn up on the evening, and there will people there to welcome you and point you in the direction of a group!

Save the date for our Harvest Lunch!

After our morning service next Sunday, 6th September, we'll be meeting together in the Pierce Hall for a church family lunch (all provided!). It's a great chance to spend some time together before we go back to 2 morning services, and an opportunity for us to give thanks to the God of the Harvest for all His good provision to us.

If you're planning on joining, please book a place via the 'Signups' tab on our website.

We'll also be collecting non-perishable food items, such as rice, pasta, breakfast cereals, long-life milk, and tinned meat to donate to Rainbow of Hope, a Christian charity that supports people in need in Cardiff. Bring something along if you can!

Meet our new interns, Rachel and Niamh 👋 and find out a little about what they're looking forward to as they start our Ministry Intern programme.

You might have seen them around this week, working hard at Holiday Club, but they will be starting their new roles with us on Tuesday and we're really looking forward to welcoming them onto the team this year.

If you see them around in the coming weeks, say hi to them and ask them how it's going. We are so thankful for God's provision of men and women over the years to serve the church and give their time to help us reach many people with the gospel. And we're excited to see how He will shape these women to be more like Jesus!

Why not join us in praying for them as they settle into their new roles in the coming weeks?
