What's on: September 🍂

The term is getting into full swing at Highfields church, and as well as our clubs starting back up this week (look out for info coming this weekend!) we have lots of other events and opportunities to connect with church family, learn from God's Word and grow together throughout this month.

Our 20's ministry is restarting next week!

20's is a small group bible study for those in their 20's and we're really looking forward to starting a new year together again soon!
The small groups will be a mixture of men and women, studying God's Word and praying together through all the issues we face in these formative years of life.

We'll be restarting on Thursday 10th September at 7.30pm, in Highfields Church Building. So whether you're returning for another year, or are newly joining, you'd be so welcome!

You can turn up on the evening, and there will people there to welcome you and point you in the direction of a group!

Save the date for our Harvest Lunch!

After our morning service next Sunday, 6th September, we'll be meeting together in the Pierce Hall for a church family lunch (all provided!). It's a great chance to spend some time together before we go back to 2 morning services, and an opportunity for us to give thanks to the God of the Harvest for all His good provision to us.

If you're planning on joining, please book a place via the 'Signups' tab on our website.

We'll also be collecting non-perishable food items, such as rice, pasta, breakfast cereals, long-life milk, and tinned meat to donate to Rainbow of Hope, a Christian charity that supports people in need in Cardiff. Bring something along if you can!

Meet our new interns, Rachel and Niamh 👋 and find out a little about what they're looking forward to as they start our Ministry Intern programme.

You might have seen them around this week, working hard at Holiday Club, but they will be starting their new roles with us on Tuesday and we're really looking forward to welcoming them onto the team this year.

If you see them around in the coming weeks, say hi to them and ask them how it's going. We are so thankful for God's provision of men and women over the years to serve the church and give their time to help us reach many people with the gospel. And we're excited to see how He will shape these women to be more like Jesus!

The Big Party Holiday Club has gotten off to a great start!

We’re having loads of fun hearing stories, singing songs, playing games and loads more…and we hope the children are enjoying it too!

One-to-one training evening 📅

Would you like to help someone grow in their faith through reading God’s Word together — and be encouraged yourself along the way? Join us for a relaxed training evening and discover how simple, natural and rewarding it can be to read the Bible one-to-one with someone else.

The evening is open to all, whether you are already a leader, or just wanting to grow in confidence. We hope it will equip us all to better open the Bible with one another, and with those who don't yet know Jesus.

You are invited 🎉🎁🎈 and the party starts tomorrow!!

Our annual Holiday Club is running 10-12.30 for the rest of this week and the invite is still open!
Even if you missed the sign up deadline, don’t worry! Just come along tomorrow morning to register your child from 9.30am for a week full of fun, games, stories and songs.

The club is open to any children aged 4-11, and we’d love you to join us!

We have another GriefShare Course starting soon.

GriefShare is a grief recovery support group, where you will find help and healing after losing a loved one. Whether your bereavement was recent, or many years ago, this group will provide a safe place for you to process and work through questions, fears and pain over a set number of weeks, working through structured material.

Holiday Club Bookings close TODAY!

There are only a few days to go until 'The Big Party' begins, so don't miss out! There is still space so visit highfields.church 'Signups' page to register your child's place at this years club!

Every morning from Tuesday- Thursday next week there will be loads of fun happening from games to crafts, to songs and stories from the Bible. And we'd love you to be there! So book a space today!
