We're celebrating 40 years of Highfields Church this year, and all God's faithfulness to us through those years.

Next Saturday (30th May) we'll be hosting a day of events to celebrate as a church family and give thanks to God. There are all sorts of things happening across Cardiff in the morning, before a special anniversary service in the afternoon and an evening full of activities for the church family to share.

The day is an open invite to all Highfields family past and present- we'd love to see you at one of the activities! And if you're able to commit to an event ahead of time, please do book a space at it via church center. We want to make sure we have enough food and space for all those who want to be there, so let us know!

We're looking forward to the day so much and would love to see you there!

We hope you've been enjoying our evening series 'God's Book', exploring some of the Bible's toughest question.

We'll be continuing this Sunday evening (24th May) at 6.30pm with the question 'Is the Bible's teaching on s*x outdated?'. It's a huge question for our times, so come along and explore it with us!

There will also be refreshments served afterwards for those who'd like to stick around, get to know more church family and keep chatting through questions.

Come and celebrate 40 years of God's faithfulness with us ⭐️

On Saturday 30th May, we've got a day FULL of activities to spend time together celebrating all of God's goodness to Highfields Church over the last 40 years...and we want you to be part of it!

The day is full of activity, and we have something for everyone. But the heart of the day is our 2pm thanksgiving service right here at Highfields Church. We'll sing praise to God, hear stories of His faithfulness and testimony from people who have been part of God's work here over the years...and then spend the evening celebrating together with food and fun.

All events are free, but please do book your space so we know how many to expect at each event. You can do that by visiting our website highfields.church and clicking the 'signups' tab.

One week today our next Christianity Explored Course begins 🔍️

Christianity Explored is a relaxed and informal way of finding the best news you can ever hear, and gives you space and time to think about the big questions of life.

The course will run Wednesdays, starting on 15th April at 7.30pm. There will be seven sessions looking at Jesus’ life in Mark’s gospel, meeting the man who claimed to be God and discovering how He changed history.

The evenings are designed for those who have questions, or are exploring and its a completely unpressured way to find out more. There will be light refreshments, videos to watch and some small group discussions...all to help us explore more of Jesus and the Christian faith.

Happy Easter! He is Risen!

We hope and pray that this Easter Sunday will bring much joy to your heart as you grasp afresh the hope that is ours in the resurrected Jesus!

We have services at 9.15am and 11.15am this morning- why not come and join us as we celebrate this great news together?

Praise God that the work of salvation was finished on that cross. Hallelujah, He is Risen!

Easter at the Museum

On Easter Saturday join us for a guided discussion exploring artworks from National Museum Cardiff. We will reflect on how these artworks speak into questions of life, death, and the human condition - considering how these themes take us to the heart of the Easter story.

We will gather for lunch after so be ready to buy or bring your own!

Easter at Highfields!

We have a few different services happening over this Easter period to help us reflect and rejoice in all that Easter means, as we think on the cross of Jesus and the salvation He won for us.

Our services are open to all, so why not come and join us to celebrate...or maybe just to hear more about the events at the heart of the Christian faith.

This Sunday, after our monthly 'Prayer and Praise' service (6.30pm) we'll have another opportunity for extended worship ...

This Sunday, after our monthly 'Prayer and Praise' service (6.30pm) we'll have another opportunity for extended worship together.

It was such a joy last time to stay a little longer, learning new songs and singing some old favourites in praise to our God! We'd love you to join us again, from about 8pm on Sunday.

This time we also have an extra special opportunity to start learning the new 4-part harmony to 'All Glory be to Christ', in honour of our 40th year celebrations.

So come and pray with us, and stay on for some extra time to praise our God!

Our LIFE week of events might be over for another year, but there are still opportunities to explore the claims of Jesus...
