CMCC, Cardiff Methodist Community Choir, is a group of singers and musicians who bring the Christian message to life through music, movement, and reflection, in a way that speaks to believers, non-believers and those at a point in between alike. This Easter, you are invited to experience a modern retelling of the Easter story, connecting ancient events with the realities of life today and asking the question: are we any different? We explore the characters involved in the days leading up to the crucifixion and relate them to the challenges faced by the congregations of 2026. The Easter story observed with today’s eyes, dealing with today’s issues and today’s questions.
All of our music is specially adapted for CMCC, creating a sound you won’t hear anywhere else. We use PowerPoint, scripture, narrative, and active response, so that the message comes alive for everyone (believers and non-believers).
This is NOT your typical Easter reflection. This is NOT a traditional service. This is an experience that will challenge, inspire, and stay with you long after the final note is sung. Whether you have strong faith, little faith, or no faith at all, you are warmly invited.
