We are back, as Cardiff Methodists, joining the Pride Cymru Parade - and this year on our Circuit Service Eve! We want Cardiff to know that God, in Love, unites us.

The parade will be starting in Cardiff City Centre on Saturday 13th June at 11am but we will be gathering earlier (timings and meeting location tbc). We may also be continuing to gather in fellowship over going to find some food together after the march.

If you would like to join the group of marchers and celebrators, please contact us here or at [email protected]

Well done and thanks to the volunteers from church who joined any planting sessions. The church has 4 fruit trees from Forest Farm nursery, being cared for until they are a little stronger.

๐ŸŒณ Cardiffโ€™s urban forest has grown by 155,000 new trees since 2021!

The latest tree planting season has been a record breaking one for our Coed Caerdydd project, with more than 37,000 new trees (including 530+ new street trees) planted across the city since October 2025โ€“ taking the total to over 155,000 trees since the project began.

Thanks to the efforts of 1,500+ volunteers, trees have been planted at 230 different sites including parks, streets, schools and community spaces. As they grow, the trees will help to cool neighbourhoods, improve air quality, absorb carbon emissions, support wildlife, boost health and wellbeing and create a greener Cardiff for future generations.

This year 280 different varieties were planted, including the first trees grown from locally collected seeds in the Coed Caerdydd tree nursery at Forest Farm.

Coed Caerdydd is part of our response to climate change.
