Cardiff University Orthodox Christian Chaplaincy

Cardiff University Orthodox Christian Chaplaincy Serving Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox Christians at Cardiff University. Important things to know about the Chaplaincy is that:

1.

The Orthodox Christian Chaplaincy at Cardiff University, as part of the wider Chaplaincy service of the University, is here especially to serve Christians from an Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, or Eastern Catholic background. We does NOT engage in proselytisation among Eastern jurisdictions

2. Wherever possible, we will actively seek to connect students and staff of any Eastern Church with

a local community in Cardiff

3. We encourage fidelity to the disciplines of the Churches represented in the community

Our purpose, above all, is to make every member of the University community feel welcome and supported, while fostering the spiritual wellbeing of those who are already actively engaged in their own Orthodox spiritual tradition (be that Greek, Russian, Coptic, Ethiopic, Syriac, Indian, etc.), by providing care and learning opportunities to them and those enquiring alike.
