_Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah_
نَحْمَدُهُ وَنُصَلِّي عَلَى رَسُولِهِ الْكَرِيمِ
My_Respected brothers in Islam._
All praise is due to Allah...
The greatest favor Allah has awarded upon us is the sending of our Prophet Muhammad. Because the Prophet was born in this month, Rabi' al-Awwal is very important in the Islamic calender.
★The Importance of Rabiul Awwal★
The month of Rabiul Awwal is very important in Islamic history.
In this month, our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was born. His birth was a mercy and a light.
★ Not only for Arabia.
★ But for all of mankind.
That is why we call Rabiul Awwal:
*"The Month of Mercy"* and *"The Month of Light"*.
★The Importance of Friday- Jumuah★
And Friday, Jumuah, is the best day of the week.
It has a great status with Allah.
Many great events happened on this day.
So every Friday in Rabiul Awwal
creates special feelings in Muslim hearts.
*Especially the 3rd Friday.*
It is a great chance for us.
A chance to *increase love for the Prophet*.
A chance to *practice Sunnah*.
A chance to *focus on worship*.
*Rabiul Awwal and Love for the Prophet*
*Love for the Prophet is the life of our Iman.*
Iman is not complete without loving him.
★Allah says in the Quran:
*قال الله تعالى:*
*لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا* [الأحزاب: 21]
*"Indeed in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example"* [Surah Al-Ahzab: 21]
★Allah says in the Quran:
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ شَاهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا**وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى اللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَسِرَاجًا مُّنِيرًا
*Meaning:*
*"O Prophet! Indeed We have sent you as a witness, and a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner."* *"And as one who invites to Allah by His permission, and as a lamp spreading light."*
*Explanation in simple words:
Allah is describing the 5 roles of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ:
1.*Shahidan(شَاهِدًا)- A Witness*: He will testify for and against people on the Day of Judgment.
2.*Mubashshiran(مُبَشِّرًا)- Bearer of Glad Tidings*: He gave good news of Jannah to those who believe and do good.
3.*Nazeeran (نَذِيرًا) - A Warner*: He warned people about the punishment for those who reject Allah.
4.*Da'iyan Ilallah (دَاعِيًا إِلَى اللَّهِ)- One who invites to Allah*: He called people to worship only Alah, with Allah's permission.
5.*Sirajan Munira (سِرَاجًا مُّنِيرًا)- A Lamp spreading light*: His teachings remove darkness of ignorance and show us the path of truth.
In Rabiul Awwal, we remember the Prophet more.
We hold *Milad gatherings*.
We talk about *his life*.
We send *more Durood*.
And we make a *promise to follow his example*.
*The Blessing of Friday in Rabiul Awwal*
Friday is a day of mercy.
It is a day when *dua is accepted*.
There is a *special hour* on Friday.
In Rabiul Awwal, this becomes even greater. Because the whole society is full
of *love for the Prophet and Sunnah*.
*So what should we do... ?*
*1. Read the Quran with Tajweed*
Increase our correct recitation of the Quran.
And try to understand its meaning.
Alhamdulillah, _it is worth mentioning_,
with your full support, the closing ceremony of our *1-Month Special Qirat Course* was held in our Jalalia Masjid yesterday.
For that, I thank all of you very much.
*Jazakumullahu Khairan* to all of you.
*2. Study the Life of the Prophet*
Study the Seerah deeply.
And share it with others.
*3. Send Durood and Istighfar*
Send a lot of Durood and Istighfar every day.
*4. Help the Poor and Needy*
Help the poor and needy.
This was the teaching of the Prophet.
*5. Build a Good Environment*
Build an environment of *worship, good character, and Dawah*
in our homes and community.
★Final Message★
Every Friday in Rabiul Awwal is blessed.
It is a time to *renew our promise*.
A promise of *love for the Prophet*.
A promise to *follow the Sunnah*.
A promise to *do more Ibadah*.
If we understand the value of this day
and do good deeds sincerely,
then Allah will bring *peace, unity, and mercy* to our society.
May the light of Rabiul Awwal :
wake up love for the Prophet in our hearts.
And may it fill our lives with the light of Sunnah.
★ May Allah grant us true love for the Prophet (SAW) and the tawfiq to follow his Sunnah.
