On 23rd May, Katie Singleton and David Mayer were married at St Edward's. The very first wedding ever to take place in the church. A wonderful day - congratulations to them both. Back to normal temperatures this week, but lots of excitement with the Forget Me Nots Beetle Drive! Some very artistic beetles, and lots of competitive spirit. We found time for a word search, quiz and bingo as well!

An extremely hot day, but quite a bit cooler inside the church for Forget Me Not Cafe today! A bit too hot for dancing, but some beautiful Duets from Suzanne Moore Osley and Caroline Hays, accompanied on the piano by Jayne Thomas. What a lovely way to spend the hottest part of the day! Thanks to all our helpers who braved the heat of the kitchen to bring us food and drink, or moved the chairs and tables.
