BlockStars! Day 3: Wise and Foolish Builders. Today Paula painted while she told us the story of the wise and foolish builders, then we built our own houses and tested them out on the rock and on the sand in the church garden. We also did a scavenger hunt for bricks to build our Bible verse, played Capture the Flag and so much more!

It's been a fantastic 3 days and the time flew by!

BlockStars! Day 2: Noah. We learned about Noah and how he trusted God's instructions to build a boat. Our games had a very watery theme (Human Battleships with water bombs, and Soak-the-pastor were particularly popular), we also made lots of brick animals to fill Noah's ark, and competed to make the best duplo Marble runs.
Only one day left!

BlockStars! Day 1: All about Creation! We played games, built our own minifigures, and made Creation Lego scenes. We also watched a lego video about creation and Paula told us about how God made everything and it was very good!

Looking forward to Day 2 tomorrow!

For those with preschool children, our baby & toddler group (First Steps) will be running a 3-day special as part of Blockstars - as all 0-4 yr olds need to be accompanied by a parent/carer you don't need to book places in advance for them.
