Last week, it was lovely to walk the section of the Pilgrim Way from Kennoway to Ceres with friends from the Salvation Army and then to walk from Dalgety Bay to Aberdour with a group as part of the Aberdour Festival.

This week, apart from the pilgrimage running from Thursday to Saturday, I'm off to St Andrews to meet with a pilgrim from Italy, who has been hosted overnight on his journey by some of the wonderful churches along the Pilgrim Way. Thank you for taking care of him.

I'll also be leading worship at Cairneyhill Parish Church this Sunday... busy times!

On August 4th, from 10.00 until 15.00, I'll be joining my colleague Rev. Andrea Fraser, minister of Fife: Forthview, St Fillan's Parish Church, Aberdour and Fife: Forthview Parish Church - Dalgety as we lead a pilgrimage from Dalgety Bay to the beautiful, historic St Fillan's Church in Aberdour via St Bridget's Kirk. The day will include coffee and a scone as we set off and tea, soup and cake when we arrive. This walk is around 6.5km/4miles and will be at a very gentle pace. Places are limited, but can be booked by emailing [email protected].
