ST NICHOLAS' BOOKSTALL
Following the storing away of stock during Easter and the Art Exhibition, the bookstall is now fully up & running again. The recent acquisition of bookcases has enabled the freeing up of tables and a more compact arrangement. An opportunity has been taken to overhaul the stock itself and we're now displaying around 500 titles again, as usual divided into separate categories: FICTION is the largest section & remains divided between crime/thriller/spy titles to the right & other fiction (e.g. romance) to the left. The former is sorted alphabetically by author, the latter not yet. NON-FICTION and CHILDREN'S books at the East end as before, HISTORY and CLASSICS to the West.
Please continue to place your contributions in the little wall slot just inside the church door or use the card machine next to it (choose a sum and "click & go"). Donations of clean books in good condition remain welcome - please place these in the box provided, not on the bookshelves themselves. Unfortunately, the shelf dimensions mean we can no longer take in large format books. And one or two shelves are a little wonky - please go easy! 😊
All books are still at the bargain price of only 50p (unless you wish to add a little more).
Thank you for continuing to help us meet the daily maintenance costs of running Ash's beautiful parish church. Happy Reading!!
