MartinPaul Churches St Martin's and St Paul's
Two churches in Canterbury in the Eucharistic Tradition with lots going on. We are Inclusive Churches. *St. St.

Paul's Church dates from Norman times and is very close to the City Centre yet the Parish extends a long way out on the Eastern side of the City.

*St. Martin's Church is England's oldest Parish church and part of the Canterbury World Heritage Site. Augustine visted our church in 597 to begin the mission authorised by Pope Gregory the Great. Together we continue our mission to live out the Gospel

in thought, word and deed. Our churches stand in the centre of the Anglican tradition; we have an enthusiastic choir and a lively Sunday Zone for children which meets at St. Paul's at 10.30 am in term time. The church also runs a informal Messy Church in the Querns community centre, a very popular monthly Taize service on a Sunday evening, and a cafe church. Please see our website for more details, contacts and service times! WHOEVER YOU ARE, ALL ARE VERY WELCOME!!!

Dom and Jo are strapping themselves to the top of an airplane to help make St Martin’s Church accessible for everyone.

It’s daring, it’s a bit terrifying, and it’s all for our Widening Our Welcome project which has plans to fund essential step free access and modern accessible facilities so that 1,400 years of history can be enjoyed barrier free.
