As usual, we were too busy having fun to remember to take photos, but thanks to all of you who came to our AGM and party. It was brilliant!

"Sound and Silence" - 8-9pm from today until Saturday 14th at city space (49 Northgate)
We wanted to let you know about a prayer opportunity which we’re opening up at cityspace this week as part of the ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ prayer week.
‘Sound and Silence’ does exactly what it says on the tin: it’s an hour of space to listen – 40 minutes of it with music on in the background, and the last 20 minutes in silence.
We believe this is a time when God wants to speak ...when he has much to say ... but our lives get so full and so crowded with noise and busyness that it’s hard to make space to hear him. We considered all kinds of different prayer activities for this week, but in the end we simply felt it was right to make space for listening.
We want to give ‘listening’ the widest possible interpretation, so we will have some reading materials and some art materials available, and we encourage you to bring your own supplies of anything that helps you to still yourself and listen ... bring your knitting, your colouring, your theological tome or your Sudoku ... but do leave your woodwork at home, if you don’t mind, as that might impact everyone else’s ability to listen :)
So come along if you can.
