My life is full of glory and excellence. I’m a living testimony of God’s manifold wisdom. I am supremely and graciously blessed; no curse can work against me. I am seated together with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principality and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

I am a partaker of God’s divine nature, and I walk in abundant grace and divine favour. I am preserved from the machinations of wicked and unreasonable men. I have peace on every side. I completely reject anything that hurts or binds. I live above the decadence and flawed systems of this world.

My strength is renewed daily, and I’m divinely energized at all times for victory. Everything I require for life and godliness has been made available to me. God’s Word is my light and my life! It’s the nourishment for my spirit, food for my soul, and health to my flesh! I live by the Word always and declare that its mighty power is at work in me as I meditate on it and observe to do what it says.

The Lord has brought me to a large place. I live in a land flowing with milk and honey. Every challenge is bread for me. I devour challenges; every target is bread for me. The Lord is with me and for me! The Lord delights in me, and He has given me an eternal testimony. Everywhere I go, testimonies and shouts of joy and victory abound all around me.

I belong in God’s superior class of divine beings. I am a king, and my words are full of power and authority; therefore, I live a life of victory, success, divine health, abundance, excellence, and glory. I am not a victim in this life. I am born and called to be a victor. I enjoy extraordinary strength by the Holy Ghost and divine enablement in my inner man.

My life is a life of ever-increasing glory and peace. There is no turmoil here because I flourish in God’s rest. I am not a victim but a victor. God’s Word is producing what it talks about in my life. God’s Word is alive in me; therefore, I cannot die. Every time I receive the Word of God, it goes into my spirit and permeates my body in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hebrews 3:15 “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

𝗟𝗘𝗧'𝗦 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗞 ⏩
“Have you ever felt like God was telling you to do something, but you ignored it?” Todd asked.

Laura nodded. “Yes… and later I wished I had listened.”

Todd smiled. “I’m learning that responding quickly makes a big difference.”

God speaks to us through His Word and by His Spirit, but not everyone responds rightly to His voice, especially in everyday situations like school, friendships, and choices. When you hear God’s Word, He expects a response. Your response activates His power and brings His Word to life in your situation. In the days of Samuel, God called him repeatedly, but Samuel didn’t know how to respond until Eli taught him to say, “...Speak, Lord, for Your servant hears...” (1 Samuel 3:9).

Once Samuel responded correctly, God began to talk to him. Likewise, when you respond to God in faith, His voice becomes clearer, and His presence manifests more strongly in your life, even as a young person. Never take the Word of God lightly. Each instruction, correction, or prompting of the Spirit requires a faith response, whether it’s about your studies, character, or relationships. So, to every Word from God, you say, “Yes, Lord,” and act accordingly.

Not responding to God’s Word quickly can weaken your ability to hear from Him. But when you train your spirit to act promptly on the Word, the Spirit of God floods your heart with light, direction and grace, helping you make wise decisions daily. So always be quick to respond in faith whenever you receive God’s Word, whether during your personal study, prayer, or as a prophecy. Oftentimes, His voice may sound gentle, but it carries divine power.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

1 Samuel 3:9-10 NKJV Therefore Eli said to Samuel, “Go, lie down; and it shall be, if He calls you, that you must say, ‘Speak, Lord, for Your servant hears.’ ” So Samuel went and lay down in his place. 10 Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.”

Dear Father, as I respond to your Word with faith and love, I’m tremendously blessed; my heart is flooded with your grace and truth, and I experience continuous progress and increase in my school, family, and personal life by the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Righteousness is the nature of God that reveals His rightness—His ability to be right, only and always right. It’s His equity in judgment, His fairness to anyone and everyone. This is why righteousness belongs to God alone; no man by his own effort can attain it.

This was the dilemma: God gave the Law, but man couldn’t keep it, not because the Law was wrong but because man by sin had lost the ability to fulfil it. How then could man relate with a God who demands absolute righteousness?

This is why the Lord Jesus came. He knew we could never attain righteousness by ourselves; it was impossible. So, He came to give us His life and nature. When you received Christ, you received the very life of God. Just as you were born into this world with human life, you were born again with the life and nature of Christ.

This new life came with a gift—righteousness. This isn’t human righteousness or righteousness by works; it’s the righteousness of God. It’s given, imparted, or bestowed. You don’t work for it; you receive it. This righteousness produces something extraordinary in you. It gives you the ability to live right, to do right, and to walk in God’s will.

More than that, it gives you boldness before God. You can stand in His presence without inferiority, without guilt, and without condemnation. This is your reality now that you’re born again. You’re not trying to become righteous; you’ve been made righteous. You don’t struggle to please God; you live out His nature that’s within you. This is the life of righteousness: living in dominion, with confidence, and in fellowship with the Father. Hallelujah!

Righteousness is a word many use without a proper understanding of what it means. The world can’t define righteousness; it must be understood from God’s perspective. How can a man who isn’t righteous describe righteousness? It’s impossible to define what you’ve never known or experienced.

For many, righteousness is reduced to moral uprightness, often an exaggerated view of personal conduct. Some consider themselves righteous in their work; others in their families or communities. But these are human attempts to define something divine.

The Scriptures tell us something important about man’s righteousness and the different kinds of righteousness that exist in the world: they’re as filthy rags: “𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙨 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙨; 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙙𝙤 𝙛𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙛; 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙙, 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙪𝙨 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙮” (Isaiah 64:6).

That means every form of righteousness that originates from man, every standard built on human effort, and every confidence grounded in personal conduct falls short before God. No matter how morally upright one may appear, it doesn’t make him righteous before God. What then is righteousness? How does a man become righteous before God?

Romans 3:21 (NIV) gives us an idea; it says, “𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙬, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙣….” This shows that there’s a righteousness from God and it isn’t based on performance or adherence to the Law. It’s something divine; it comes from God Himself.

Romans 5:17 declares: “For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” The righteousness from God, therefore, is a gift. It’s not achieved; it’s received.

This changes everything. You don’t try to be righteous before God; you receive His gift of righteousness. It’s not about your efforts; it’s about what He has made available in Christ. This is the righteousness that qualifies you, empowers you, and brings you into right standing with God. We’ll explore this some more in our next study.

In the Old Testament, the word translated “mercy” comes from the Hebrew word “hesed.” It means lovingkindness, but more specifically, it is covenant kindness; kindness rooted in covenant, not in merit. The example of David and Jonathan’s son, Mephibosheth, gives us a clear and practical picture of how covenant mercy works (2 Samuel 9).

Long after Jonathan’s death and well into his reign as king, David was moved by the covenant he had made with Jonathan. He asked a deliberate question: “…𝙄𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙚𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙚𝙛𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙖𝙪𝙡, 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙬 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙅𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣'𝙨 𝙨𝙖𝙠𝙚?” (2 Samuel 9:1). David wasn’t asking if there was someone he could merely acknowledge. The word “shew” used means to demonstrate.

David was looking for someone to whom he could practically and visibly demonstrate covenant kindness. In fact, in the 3rd verse, David called it the “kindness of God.” How profound!

Mephibosheth was lame in both feet and practically abandoned and forgotten by most. However, he was summoned to the king’s presence. But when he came before David, he fell on his face in fear. He expected judgment from the king who had succeeded his grandfather, King Saul.

But David’s first words were “Fear not”; that’s always the language of mercy. David restored to him all the land that had belonged to Saul and then offered him something greater still: a permanent place at the king’s table. This was covenant kindness, which David called “the kindness of God.”

Why did he call it the kindness of God? It’s because covenant kindness is shown toward someone who has no merit or claim to it. That person doesn’t qualify. True mercy flows from the greater to the lesser. By virtue of that mercy, the one with nothing is brought into royalty, lifted, honoured, and seated at the table, just as we are today seated together with Christ. This is the transforming power of covenant kindness.

It reminds of the Scripture: “𝙃𝙚 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙩𝙝 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙤𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙪𝙨𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙩𝙝 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙜𝙖𝙧 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙡, 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙞𝙣𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙮...” (1 Samuel 2:8). Perhaps there’s someone coming to your spirit even now that requires your covenant kindness; go ahead and show that one the kindness of God.

[7] So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.”
[8] Then he bowed himself, and said, “What is your servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I?”

God never produces failures. When a person is united with Christ, he or she steps into a life designed only for success, victory and increase. The nature of God in you produces excellence, progress and greatness. It’s the reality of the new creation life.

I came into this understanding very early. I was born again before I was nine years old and began to preach the Gospel not long after. I started winning my friends to Christ, and shortly after I was ten, I began a fellowship. By fifteen, I was already holding crusades. I have walked this path long enough to know beyond any argument that the Word works.

When God sets you on course and your mind is stayed on Him, the Word declares that He will keep you in perfect peace because you trust in Him. That peace is the peace of prosperity, a life that continually moves forward. The Scripture also says concerning the one who’s in Christ: Whatsoever he does shall prosper. That’s the destiny of the one who lives by the Word; we saw that in our opening scripture. The one who doesn’t follow the advice of the ungodly is blessed. Some people allow ungodly friends, relatives, or neighbours to shape their decisions; no!

The blessed man delights in the Word of God and meditates on it day and night. He gives attention to the Word, and the Word shapes his life. The result is extraordinary: He becomes like a tree planted by the rivers of water, bearing fruit in season, and his leaf doesn’t wither; that means no failure with you. What a life!

When you give yourself to the Word, it programmes you for a one-way journey in life—upward and forward only. The Word is seed, and meditating on it keeps it deeply rooted in your spirit to govern your mentality such that you think success, victory, and glory only. Your life becomes the demonstration of the Word, causing you to have good success (Joshua 1:8). Hallelujah.
