How are you doing?

We love this city and love every campus, this is a great place to live. Don't worry if you're feeling nervous, there's so much to take in, it's a natural reaction to so much new in your life.

But it's going to be OK.

We believe God loves you and knows you. Take your time. Look after yourself.

We love students - so know you're always welcome to join us. We'd love to get to know you and help you on the journey of making Canterbury a home.

Just a quick message from us to say we are desperately sad about the government's instruction for most students not to return to their campus until much later in the term at best. We miss you dearly and love being church family together, it's not the same without actually being together.

All that said, we are 100% committed to ministering to you through all we can do and still gathering together as City Students this term - God is able to use ANY situation for good and we know He has great things for us. We'll be starting Pursuit on Wednesday nights again soon and hopefully a couple of new things too, including a Sunday night small group called Fellowship of Brothers - more info to come soon!

We'd love to know if you're still in Canterbury or if your course is requiring you to return. We are here for you - from practical help to prayer, please let us know if that's you and if there's any way we can be of help.

Also, many of you signed up to our Meet Ups in September and have a 1-1 relationship with someone in church. They are still there for you! If you didn't sign up, are part of City Church and would like to, then head to the Student section of our website to sign up: www.thecitychurch.org.uk/students

As the autumn term comes to a close, what will spring term be like? What will change, and what will stay the same? And how do we navigate the new season as a follower of Jesus? This can be especially mysterious whilst in your first year, but it also affects you if you're a returning student. Sam chats to Ed Earnshaw from Fusion, a Christian ministry all about equipping students in following Jesus, about what this new term might have in store.
