We have had quite a few people let us know that there is a very large crack that has appeared in the north side wall. (We believe it could be to the extreme dry weather we have experienced this summer but can only speculate at this point). We are aware - and are taking action to see what can be done. We ask that people avoid this area if going through the churchyard. Thanking you always for your concern for St Nichs🌺

🧸🪂 Teddies Off the Tower! 🪂🧸

Bring your favourite teddy or soft toy and watch them make a brave parachute jump from the tower at Canewdon Church!

Every teddy will have their name announced before taking the leap, then head to Teddy Hospital for a check-up and receive a Certificate of Bravery.

Plus enjoy a delicious BBQ, ice cream, local craft stalls, games history talks and lots of family fun!

Will your teddy be brave enough? 🐻💛

A great deal of thanks and appreciation go out to the gang from the Probation Service, ❤️who started work yesterday and worked so hard yesterday and today clearing so much shrubbery 🌳 in the churchyard - particularly today in such hot and airless conditions!! Amazing job!!! We are so grateful for all your hard work❤️
