Messy Church - Campbeltown

Messy Church - Campbeltown Messy Church is for everyone aged 0-90+. Children must be accompanied by an adult. We have food, Bible based stories, songs and crafts.

Messy Church is about bringing the Christian message to people of all ages in a fun and informal way. We begin with a meal which gives us the chance to sit down together and get to know one another. This is followed by a story and crafts, which are usually connected to the story in some way. We finish off with a song or two. It is important that all children are accompanied by a responsible adult.

South Kintyre Development Trust would like to invite members of the community to the Town Hall to sign a Royal Book of Condolences for the Queen's passing. The book will be available here from tomorrow, Thursday 15th September, and will be available to sign until 5pm on Tuesday 20th September.

Please note that the Town Hall will be closed this coming Sunday and Monday.

In the fourth week of Lent we continue to practice being still and resting in the presence of God. One way to take some time to be still is to make a prayer college. Take some newspapers (digital or physical) cut out any headlines or stories that you’d like to pray about. Who, in your own village/town/city, needs help and support? Who, in the wider world, needs help and support? Make a collage of those issues you’d like to pray for. Include happy stories so you can thank God for good news.

Dearest Father, Almighty God, at the start of a new year we seek your grace, despite our pride, your forgiveness, despite our doubt, and most of all your love, to see us through these dark times. May we face whatever this new year brings, in your divine will, with courage, hope and open hearts. Amen.
