HYMN: Welcome Everybody – led by the Sunday Groups

Here we are together, now we can begin
The youngest and the oldest, the only child, the twin
Some who’re feeling left out and some who’re feeling in
Gathering in this place
Chorus
Welcome everybody, it’s good to see you here
Welcome everybody, it’s good to see you here
Welcome everybody, it’s good to see you here
Gathering in this place
Here we are together, joining in this song
Even those who feel that their singing’s not that strong
And as we sing may every person know that they belong
Gathering in this place
Chorus
Welcome everybody, it’s good to see you here
Welcome everybody, it’s good to see you here
Welcome everybody, it’s good to see you here

Here we are together, with all our hopes and fears
Bringing many feelings, our laughter and our tears
And now it’s time for everyone to tell the world, WE’RE HERE!

Our mission statement:
We are a warm and welcoming church
who seek to help all people experience and share
the love and teachings of Jesus Christ
in our worship and community involvement.
We affirm the dignity of all people
through compassion and kindness.

Our offerings help support the mission and work of our church and we are grateful to all those who give financially Sunday by Sunday. Many people give by standing order but there is also the option to give via the offering plate in the vestibule area of the church, immediately before entering or leaving the sanctuary. You can pop your offering in the plate either before or after the service. Thank you!

Stated Annual Meeting: The Stated Annual Meeting of the congregation will take place immediately following this morning’s service. At this meeting, the accounts for 2025 will be presented.

Fellowship Teas: There will be no Fellowship Tea today as the hall is set up for a show taking place later.

CPC Singers: There will be no rehearsal today owing to the Stated Annual Meeting. Rehearsals will resume next week, Sunday 28th June after the service, lasting no longer than 30 minutes. All are welcome.

Bible Blethers: Our last meeting before the summer break takes place on Wednesday, 24th June at 10am in the Morriston Room. We will be watching the film "The Theory of Everything" in preparation for our autumn study of Hilary Brand's book "The Mystery of Everything." Anyone wishing to join us will be made most welcome.

Kirk Session: Elders please note that the next Kirk Session meeting will be held on Tuesday 30th June at 7.30 in the Morriston Room

Flower Ministry: The flowers which are donated, arranged and distributed from the church are hugely appreciated by those who receive them. Recent thanks have been received from Muriel Hosie and Bob McDonald. Bob’s words are below.
“Please pass on my sincere thanks to those at the Church, especially Hazel Robb, for my birthday gift of flowers. Much appreciated!!”

Prayer Tree: The congregational Prayer Tree is available in the Welcome Area, along with tags on which names can be written of any for whom prayers are sought. Names on the Prayer Tree will normally be included by the Ministry Team in prayers offered in worship at the Sunday Service and Tuesday Service. It is the normal practice of the Ministry Team to include first names only to help preserve appropriate anonymity. If you place a prayer request on the Prayer Tree can you also please remove that tag when prayer is no longer required. Thank you.
