Lovely to be part of a memorial service yesterday to commemorate 85 years since a Wellington Bomber crashed in the field adjacent to Rampton Church on its way to a bombing raid on Cherbourg, killing two of the servicemen and injuring three others. We will remember them.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, sadly we need to cancel the Activity Hour planned for Monday 24th August. We hope to do something in October half term instead. Sorry!

Lovely to hear the bells ringing tonight after a break of so many months due to the works inside the church.

Help is needed to clean the church on Friday afternoon ready for a wedding on Saturday. If anyone is free from 2pm, please do come and offer as little or as much time as you can. We need to sweep, wash, dust and move a bit of furniture. All welcome!
