Our Courtyard Garden at St John's on Hills Road is looking wonderful after the rain. It's a great place to sit for a while too.

We're playing it cool for tomorrow's Community Lunch (Wednesday 27 May). There's a menu of ham & onion - or mushroom & spinach - quiche, with salads, and this will be followed by strawberries and cream. £5 per person, no need to book, and welcoming company. Join us if you can! 🍓😋😎

Gardeners! Plants will be on sale on Sunday 17 May, from 11.15am until 12.30pm, in the grounds of St John the Evangelist Church, Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 8RN. Cash or card welcome. In aid of St John's Church.🌿

It's our annual Plant Sale this Sunday 17 May, after the morning service, so from 11.15am - 12.30pm. Green-fingered members of the congregation have been busy raising tomato & cucumber plants, geraniums and lots more. Pop along and see what you can find. Bring a bag or a box for your purchases. Cash or card welcome. 🌱🌿🥀

Gardeners, save the date! Sunday 17 May, around 11.15am to 12.30pm, is our annual Plant Sale, outside in the church grounds.
Be there to bag your tomato and veg plants, herbs, decorative garden plants etc. Cash or card payments and proceeds to St John's Church. Bring a bag or a box to take your leafy bargains home 🌱🌿🥀🌿🍅🌼🌱

Sausage & onion plait (or cheese & onion) with salad, new potatoes and coleslaw, followed by chocolate fudge cake and cream is on the menu at our Community Lunch tomorrow - Wednesday 29 April from 12.30-2pm. It's £5 per person including tea or coffee and there's no need to book.

During our Easter Sunday service, worshippers helped to decorate the stark, bare cross with beautiful spring flowers as a symbol of Christ's resurrection. Jesus is risen!
