Great St Mary's, The University Church, Cambridge At the heart of Cambridge, we are the University Church, a diverse Christian community, and a place of history, beauty and prayer.

Great St Mary's is an open and inclusive Christian community in pursuit of Truth. Our foundations were laid in 1010, and we have been the University Church since 1209. We are a spiritual home for the University and the City of Cambridge, a Church of England parish in the Diocese of Ely, and a destination for visitors from around the world. Join us for worship — Sundays at 8, 10, and 4pm, weekdays

at 9am, and Wednesdays at 12.30pm — or come inside the church any day 10am to 6pm to light a candle and say a prayer. We welcome visitors from all around the world to our Grade 1 listed historic building, who come to climb our tower (10am-6), buy gifts in our shop,a nd tour our historic church. We also operate the famous Michaelhouse Café, on Trinity Street. We are an inclusive and welcoming Church of England parish, and a house of prayer for all people.

A reminder that tomorrow is a University Sermon Sunday, and the Ramsden preacher is Rt Revd Dr Paul Swarup of Clare College, Bishop of Delhi. His sermon title is 'Faith and Mission in India: Navigating the Rise of Religious Nationalism'. Everyone is welcome to come along for an 11.30am start (it's best to be seated by 11.25am). University sermons are open to everyone, you don't have to be a member of the University to attend, and there are refreshments afterwards at Michaelhouse.
