We marked the new Festival of Creation tonight with a foyer service. It was good to think about our garden and how it helped us be an open, welcoming and generous space. The small gift of green in our urban setting is very precious. We brought things in from our garden to thank God for the whole of creation. Diocese of Ely The Church of England

Join us this Saturday. You can bring any good quality clothes. You can take any clothes. There is no charge. This is a community event with values of sharing, helping others, and reducing carbon. Drop off clothes first and stay for refreshments then you can browse clothes and take what you need. We will be fundraising for our net zero carbon fund at this event. We all know we have to reduce our carbon emissions, and this is a great way to do it. The fashion industry is the second biggest industrial polluter. Buying new clothes and wearing them just a few times has become normalised. We can reverse the trend. Diocese of Ely
