💻 next week why not gather with some people in your home (family/friends/neighbours) to watch the online service streaming at 10am on
🎊 and then we’ll kick off our new year series on 5th Jan, back in person at 10am

this advent and Christmas season
may my focus be on you, Jesus
may my spirit be open to your wonder
may my ears be open to your voice
may the pace of my life slow down
so that I can be with you,
not rushing off to the next ‘important’ thing on my calendar
may I walk with you,
unhurried and unworried
basking in your love and
bathing in your glory
may I know your delight in me
and may this overflow into my life
with others
in the same way that I am present to You,
may I also be present to those around me
may this December be a time of
closeness and connection
of love and hope and faith and
prayerful mission
as we remember that You came close
we know that hearts are closer to You
more open to You
so give me wisdom, compassion and courage
to bring your light to those around me
knowing that You go before me
behind me
beside me
and in me
amen

📱 take 5 mins each day to reach out to someone who might be a bit lonely
☕️ set aside some money to buy something for the person behind you in the line on each coffee shop trip this month
⛪️ share a load of invites to our Christmas Celebrations on 15th
West Road Concert Hall
9:30 // 11:30
🙏 join us for 5 days of prayer next Mon-Fri (7am on zoom)
🥫 drop off some food at a supermarket collection point

📖 grab an advent devotional to help you start each day with Jesus
🙏 before dinner, pray the Lord’s Prayer together as a household, or zoom in with a friend
🕯️ buy an advent candle and spend a few minutes each day reflecting on Jesus, the light of the world
