If this is your child... or someone you know.... some suggestions from Care for the Family .... .... make sure they know that their results don’t define them and that you love them no matter what

And remind them God loves them too and always will.that wherever they go, he will already be there, and whatever they do, he will be doing it with them... 💚🩵💙

It can be really disappointing for our children if they don’t get the results they wanted and often it’s hard to know how we can help. Here are a few things to consider when supporting your child.

✏️ If they want to talk, just listen. Don’t feel like you need to offer solutions immediately, sometimes validating their feelings is more important.

✏️ If they don’t feel like talking let them know you are here to listen whenever they are ready

✏️ It’s important that they don’t panic, try to help them put things into perspective - they still have options even if they might need a different route to achieving their goals.

✏️ Encourage them to take their time in making decisions. They don’t need to rush into deciding what to do next.

✏️ Finally, and perhaps most importantly, make sure they know that their results don’t define them and that you love them no matter what.
