Here are some tiny happy things you might notice today

I pray you will find joy somewhere - maybe lots of places - as you travel through today

And may you be aware of God’s blessings everywhere
❤️

Life is often made beautiful by the little things. A quiet morning. A warm cup of coffee. Sunlight through a window. A text from a friend. A moment of unexpected peace. These small gifts may seem ordinary, but they are often reminders of God's presence woven into our everyday lives. Gratitude doesn't always come from having more. Sometimes it comes from slowing down long enough to notice what we've already been given. 🙏

Today, take a moment to look for the small blessings around you. You may discover they aren't small at all. If you're looking for gentle encouragement and simple reminders of God's presence in everyday life, we'd love to welcome you into our community. Receive our FREE weekly devotional filled with hope, peace, and encouragement delivered straight to your inbox each week. Everything is linked in our bio.

Thank you for being part of the Mindful Christianity family.

Prayer for community

We pray for our communities experiencing tension and violence, especially those who are feeling isolated and vulnerable.

Here is our amazing Messy Play Team, being visited by Vicky from the Eastern Baptist Association UK. They do a tremendous job, supporting carers, and providing a safe, loving and enriching environment for children to learn and play.

Did you know June is the National Month of Prayer for Toddler Groups? It's organised by 1277 - Make them Count

(On average a UK child has just 1,277 days between birth and starting nursery education. Together, we want to ‘make them count’ for the children, for their families and for the toddler groups that they attend.)

There is a regular prayer meeting in Cambridge for Toddler Groups - check out the 1277 page above.

Let's remember to pray for these groups. This prayer comes from The Salvation Army United Kingdom and Ireland Territory:

Good Shepherd,
Thank you for every family and person who comes to our parent-and-toddler groups. Thank you that each one is known and loved by you.

Please watch over them and care for them. Through the welcome, kindness and love they receive, help them to see something of your love too.

Thank you for everyone who gives their time to serve and support these groups. Bless them as they show care and faithfulness to others.

Draw us closer to you, Good Shepherd, and help us to know you more. Amen.

May the quiet of this night steady your heart. May the whisper of God’s peace wrap itself around your tired places. May you rest knowing you are held, guided, and never alone. May the grace of Christ be your companion and courage from the Holy Spirit be your dawn.

Here's a timely prayer for the world from our service this morning:

O God our Father, in the name of Jesus Christ your only beloved son, We pray that you might pour out your Holy Spirit upon our the nations of our world.
We pray for the leaders of the nations that they might incline their hearts to wisdom
We pray for the leaders of the nations that they might see the myth of redemptive violence for what it is a delusion and a lie
We pray for the leaders of the nations that they might see the truth of redemption through solidarity and suffering
We pray for the leaders of the nations that they might incline their hearts to peace
Amen

This is a prayer for every day.
We may not see the people we pray for, but they are all around us - at home and much further afield.
We are called to act justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with our God - always
🧡💚

Comment ‘AMEN’ if you’re praying with us.

To pray for justice is to open our hearts to the voices too often ignored.

Christian Aid Week may be over but we continue to listen deeply, act boldly and hold onto hope.

Alongside communities building a better future every day🙏
