Our cultural moment presents us with a complex challenge. Whether you are seeking to witness to a sceptical colleague, a friend searching for spiritual meaning, or even an uninterested family member, dedicated plenary sessions and practical seminars at the ‘Unashamed’ conference are designed to equip you with the conversational tools, confidence, and wisdom needed lovingly to point those around you to Christ.

We want to meet today’s spiritual thirst with the gospel itself, which is the power of God to salvation for those who believe.

The ‘Unashamed’ conference (12-13 June) will feature theologians Kevin Vanhoozer and Brad Green, and evangelist Glen Scrivener, to help us explore how the orthodox Protestant gospel is good news today, and speaks into many of the spiritual questions and longings of today’s world.

To meet the speakers and explore how they will help us see and articulate how the gospel meets today’s spiritual thirst, read more here: https://mailchi.mp/cambridgeapologetics.org/2026-cambridge-apologetics-summer-conference-theology

In order to share the gospel winsomely, we must first understand the cultural 'soil' in which people’s questions are growing.

At the upcoming ‘Unashamed’ conference (12-13 June), we will begin each day with an analysis of the culture from a theological perspective, exploring critical questions about our culture, such as:

How should we interpret the changing spiritual landscape of our time?

Why are many in our modern age seeking refuge in the tradition of ancient Christian institutions?

What lies behind the turn to the ‘mystical’ and the desire to connect with something 'beyond'?

To find out how our speakers - including Dan Strange, Leonardo De Chirico, Donald Fairbairn, Glen Scrivener, Kristi Mair, Andrew Fellows, Sharon Dirckx and Sarah Elwood - will explore these questions, read our latest update here: https://mailchi.mp/cambridgeapologetics.org/2026-cambridge-apologetics-summer-conference-cultural-context

Christian apologetics has traditionally focused on answering rational challenges to Christian truth claims. However, as cultural conversation increasingly acknowledges, the heart and the affections have a very significant influence on our day-to-day life and decision making. How might this understanding of knowledge, and the important role played by subjective experience, shape our approach to apologetics?

We're delighted to be welcoming Dr Esther Lightcap Meek (Professor of Philosophy emeritus and author) for an evening at the Round Church from 7:30pm on Saturday 15 March. We hope you will join us as we explore how we might reach the heart and open a way for others to know and love the truth of the gospel.
