I would just like to thank the overwhelming support we have received from the community regarding our broken windows - we are looking at getting the repairs done as quickly as possible - and have allready contacted one company - but wondered whether anyone has any suggestions of glaziers/ restoration companies - particularly locally who might be interested in considering and quoting for the work ? many thanks Revd Fiona and the church family! 🥰🙏

This Sunday as we never into Creation Season - Harvest Festivals coming later this month and in October.. - we are starting with an animal/Pet Blessing Service - a chance to give thanks.... who are bringing? - all animals must be safe - be it on leads or in carriers ( we would like the same number of God's beloved creatures to leave the service as arrive! 🥰🐹🐰🐮🐷🐔🪿🐥🦆🪲🪲🐛🪱🐢🦢🐑🐈🐕🐐🦫🐁🐇

THIS WEDNESDAY - IN TIDESWELL - Franciscan Peace Pilgrimage
– join the pilgrims…on new roads….
A group of Franciscan pilgrims, including Franciscan friars and sisters, are walking for 70 days [visiting all the Anglican Franciscan houses in the UK] in honour of the 800th anniversary of the death of St Francis of Assisi. They are coming to Tideswell on THIS Wednesday 12th August. They are staying overnight in the Institute, where the Vicar ( and others ) are going to provide them with a meal
We will then have some time in church that evening so we can meet the pilgrims and hear more about their journeying: 8 -9pm and compline @ 9pm, you can always join us for Morning Prayer at 08.00am on Thursday 13th as they set off on the next stage… All welcome.

The Vicar's away - don't get your hopes up - only for the weekend - so Sunday 9th August - the 09.30am service in Tideswell will be a service of Morning Worship and then at 6pm there will be a Holy Communion Service at St Margaret's, Wormhill led by the Revd Gillian White 🥰
