an exciting weekend ahead - our exhibition on "everyday lives in Tideswell" continues ..come and see
you can join us for worship at 09.30am on Sunday 20th.. come and see
The Tideswell bell ringers and friends will be ringing a quarter peal on Sunday afternoon at 3.15 PM as part of the Heritage Day activities. The quarter peal will take around 45 minutes. The band will be ringing the rarely heard Cambridge Surprise Major on eight bells. The last quarter peal of this method at Tideswell was rung in November 2018. come and hear

and SATURDAY 19TH SEPT @ 4PM there is an unveiling int he CHANCEL of something that was lost (well stolen over 3 decades ago) has travelled internationally, been found and eventually found it's way home - come and see come and hear... and is it really all about cheese??!?!?

HERITAGE DISPLAYS in St John the Baptist, Tideswell continue - do come and make sure you give yourself time to not only visit the church building but also to take in the images on display representing everyday lives over the years in Tideswell.... they will be available until the end of Sunday 20th September. - Monday to Friday this week the church will be open during the day but we will be closing a little earlier around 3.30pm. longer opening hours will be available at weekend and will resume the following week.
