St John's welcomed 50 visitors from Charleston, South Carolina, USA to Sunday morning's Sung Eucharist. They were entertained to tea & coffee after the service.

As a change to the advertised programme the Welcome Group will continue our walk down Memory Lane. This week we will be exploring childhood singing games and rhymes. Come along to see what we are about and share your memories with us. And eat cake...!

A few shots from our successful morning working on the grounds at St Mary's this morning. The re-wilded part of the grounds has orchids, speedwell, daisies, forget-me-nots, ox-eye daisies and lady's-smock to name but some. The Welcome Group's salad and herb planters are doing extremely well.

Members of St Mary's went for lunch at the Lathkil Hotel, followed by a walk by the more intrepid members of the group. Thanks to Sarah and Dave for organising it.

Welcome Group at St Mary’s this Wednesday (3rd May)

Hot drinks, homemade cakes and a special quiz this week.
