Welcome Group at St Mary’s this Wednesday (3rd May)

Hot drinks, homemade cakes and a special quiz this week.

And who remembers some of those old kitchen gadgets and appliances our parents and grandparents used, or indeed, that we used to have?

And which things have changed and which stood the test of time.

A quick reminder that the Ordsall Acappella singers are coming to St Mary's a week tomorrow. They've kindly given their time to help support our appeal for funds towards roof repairs which will need carrying out soon. Many of you may know them from their highly regarded visits to the Festival Fringe. we'd love to see you there.

St Mary’s Welcome Group were busy planting yesterday afternoon- sunflower seeds in decorated pots to take home and potatoes, peas, beetroot, strawberries, salad leaves and a selection of herbs in troughs outside. We just need the sun to shine now.

Come along to enjoy good company, hot drinks, home made cakes, a raffle and a fun quiz. This week we will be planting sunflower seeds indoors and herbs and vegetables outdoors as part of our current ‘reasons to grow’ project. Pop in. We’d love to see you.
