Wow! We're delighted to announce that we raised £1,921.51 for Christian Aid during May (with Gift Aid taking the total to £2,276.91!)

This includes the Buckets of Hope bean-planting on Spring Fair day, donations from our Baby & Toddler Group, a door-to-door collection on Green Lane, donations via the card reader and the QR code / website and some very generous individual donations.

We're fundraising this Christian Aid Week to support families facing hunger. In Nairobi, parents like Fridah are growing food in small spaces to make sure their children can eat. With support from Christian Aid and Beacon of Hope, families are learning how to grow food and build more secure futures....

It's Christian Aid Week!

This year, we are invited to act for people living in poverty in Kenya 🇰🇪

Kenya is in a debt crisis which is robbing vital funding from health, education and social services. Almost half of the debt is owed to private lenders charging high interest rates. Many of these loans are governed by UK law which means the UK Government is uniquely placed to introduce new debt justice laws to help tackle debt and the companies who profit from keeping families in poverty.

Help us share a message with the UK Government: that we stand with Kenya and demand debt justice.
