🎙️ Announcing Weekly Quran Tadabbur Halaqah with Practical CBT/REBT Tools

📚 Join Fatima Bint Saeed (Aalimah & Psychotherapist), every Wednesday during school term time as we journey through the Quran one surah at a time, learning how to understand, reflect upon and apply its guidance to our thoughts, emotions, behaviours and daily lives.

Unlike a traditional lecture, each session follows a practical framework that will help you move beyond simply gaining knowledge and begin implementing the guidance of the Quran in your everyday life, In shaa Allah.

A Day of Aqsa Exploration 🕌

What a wonderful day of learning, discovery and fun!

Our young explorers had the opportunity to learn about Masjid al-Aqsa, complete exciting challenges, explore its history and significance, and build a meaningful connection with one of the most sacred places in Islam.

From collecting stickers in their Aqsa Passports to completing each station, the smiles and enthusiasm throughout the day were a beautiful reminder that love for al-Aqsa can be nurtured from a young age.

We hope the children leave this experience not only as proud Aqsa Explorers, but as a generation that knows, loves and remembers Masjid al-Aqsa — and understands why it holds such a special place in the hearts of Muslims around the world. 🕌

A heartfelt Jazakum Allahu khayran to Friends of Al-Aqsa for bringing this wonderful initiative to our community, and to all the parents, volunteers and young explorers who made the day so special.

May Allah preserve Masjid al-Aqsa, bless its people, and keep it firmly rooted in the hearts of our children. 🤲

The Messenger of Allah صلّى الله عليه وسلّم instructed us to turn to ṣalāh, duʿāʾ and remembrance of Allah when an eclipse occurs.

Friends of Al-Aqsa in collaboration with Bushey Islamic Circle presents: The Aqsa Explorer Watford!

An exciting, hands-on adventure designed especially for children!

Created to spark a deep love and curiosity for Masjid Al-Aqsa, children will journey through themed stations, completing fun challenges and interactive activities 🎨.

At each stop, they’ll collect stickers in their very own Aqsa Passport.

Once all the stations are completed, they’ll officially graduate as Aqsa Explorers! 🎉

🎮 GAMES NIGHT IS BACK! 🎮

After the fantastic response from last summer, we’re excited to bring back one of BIC’s most popular youth events.

Starting 1st August, join us every Saturday in August for an evening of faith, friendship and fun. From PS5 and Nintendo Switch to pool, table tennis, snacks and more, it’s the perfect way for young people to spend their Saturday in a positive Islamic environment.
We’ll begin together with Asr prayer, enjoy the activities, and finish before Maghrib—making it a fun, beneficial and family-friendly evening for everyone.
