Bury Baptist Church, UK Bury Baptist Church is a group of people who follow Jesus together. Jesus Christ is at the heart of who we are and what we do.

We believe that Jesus is God, the Saviour of the world, who is reaching out to people, offering them the gift of life. We believe that everyone matters to God and we want to help people of all backgrounds in their journey of discovering who they are, what their life’s all about and how they can discover God’s love for themselves. Our membership of around 100 includes many local Bury folk as well a

s being blessed with a diversity of peoples from other countries. We belong to the Baptist Union of Great Britain, and are linked with other Baptist churches within our North West Association.

Our Remembrance Sunday service tomorrow (Sunday 9th November) begins ten minutes earlier than normal, at 10:50am, to incorporate the 11 o'clock silence within the service. If you arrive after 10:50am, you are still really welcome to join us, but we might ask you to wait in the foyer until after the silence has finished.

Tomorrow evening at 7:30pm we have Peter Frizelle coming to share with us. Peter works as a missionary in Guatemala, and will be speaking about the work he does there with Pure Joy Ministries, as well as the work he does to support missionaries internationally through Exago.

Tomorrow is Good Friday, a very special day in the Christian calendar as we remember Jesus's death on the cross. There is a 10:30am Communion service at church (and online), and Churches Together in Bury are holding a Walk of Witness (telling the Easter story outside in stages) around town, starting at Bury URC at midday. You are very welcome at either/both.
