A little glimpse of what makes church feel like family 🤍

From watching little ones grow, making memories and worshipping together, to women encouraging one another, men building brotherhood, celebrating 3 years of SEND Café, and making room around the table at Easter…

We’re so grateful for all the ways God is building community among us.

🧸 What a day! The teddy bears really did have their picnic! 🧺

We had such a lovely time at our Teddy Bear Picnic Party today. It was so special to see so many families enjoying the sunshine, making memories, playing, chatting and being part of our community.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, everyone who helped make the day happen, and of course all the teddy bears who joined us! 🧸

We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to do it again! 💛

🐳 Whales, waffles… well, crêpes… and worship! What more could you want on a Sunday morning? 🥞

Join us this Sunday for a very special Open the Book service as the fantastic team from Thurston Primary School leads us through the story of Jonah.

There’ll be storytelling, audience participation, a testimony, time to learn together, and a breakfast of crêpes and hash browns.

Whether you’re part of the church family or you’ve never stepped through our doors before, this is a great Sunday to join us.

💛 Kintsugi Hope Course – Starting This September at Freedom Church 💛

Life can be tough. We all carry cracks and scars from things we’ve been through - but what if those very cracks could become a beautiful part of our story?

This September, we’re running the Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Course — a safe, supportive space to explore topics like anxiety, resilience, and forgiveness. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi (repairing broken pottery with gold), this course helps us discover that our scars don't need to be hidden - they can be healed and made into something beautiful.
