Assalamu ‘Alaikum

Thank you to everyone who attended the presentation on Friday (4th September) and took the time to review the proposed Masjid refurbishment plans.

Following the announcement made last Friday, 28th August, an initial meeting was held with members of the community to introduce the refurbishment project and begin the consultation process. A feedback platform was also made available, and consultations took place with key groups within the Masjid. This was followed by the presentation of the proposed refurbishment plans this Friday, giving the wider community an opportunity to review the proposed plans, ask questions and provide feedback.

We are grateful for everyone who has taken the time to attend, engage, ask questions and share their views. All feedback shared during the presentation has been noted and will be considered by the Planning Team.

When parking for Jummah can we please park in the allocated bays without blocking cars in. Those parking on the roads please do not park illegally.

We speak about how the Prophet ﷺ came as a mercy to the worlds, and part of that mercy is respecting the rights of our neighbours and community.

May we all practise what we preach.

Asslaamu Alaikum

Following on from the announcement made by the Chairman at Jummah, the Management Committee and Trustees are committed to refurbishing our current Masjid.

We are working closely with a dedicated Planning Team, who have voluntarily given their time to work alongside professional architect in developing plans for the refurbishment project.

The proposed plans have been shared here and are also displayed on the notice board for everyone to review.

We kindly ask you to attend a short presentation next Friday after Jummah jamaat (1:30pm) in the side hall. The plans will be presented, and there will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and provide your feedback.

We warmly welcome feedback from all members of our community. Your views and suggestions are greatly valued as we move forward with this important project, InshaAllah.

*It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing away of *Shamrez Hussain aka Afit Raza.* (Moore’s Close, Burton and From Village Dohala, Kari Sharif, Chechian, Mirpur), Son of late Adalat Hussain, Brother of Parvais, Abid, Sajid and Quaiser Hussain. Cousin of Khaled Mahmood, Basharat Hussein and Tariq Mahmood Belvedere Road.

Indeed, this world is temporary, and Allah ﷻ has called them back to His infinite mercy. We pray that Allah ﷻ forgives all their shortcomings, accepts their good deeds, and grants them the highest ranks in Jannah.

May Allah ﷻ grant Sabr-e-Jameel to brother Shamrez’s family, and all loved ones during this difficult time. We ask Allah ﷻ to ease their grief and shower them with His blessings and patience. Ameen

It is with great sadness to inform you that father of Muddassar,Wasim,Asif and Yasser Bhai Najeeb the son of the late Haji Nazir the brother of late Aziz the brother of Shakil and Aqil has passed away today.

Yesterday’s Milaad event was a beautiful and blessed gathering, filled with love, remembrance, and unity. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to come together, reflect on the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and strengthen our connection to his message of peace, compassion, and kindness. May Allah accept everyone’s efforts, bless all those who attended, and allow the lessons of Milaad to remain in our hearts and guide us in our daily lives. Ameen.

Also a special congratulations to Hafiz Ameen Ahmed Ali and Hafiz Ahmed Ali upon the completion of the memorisation of the Quran as we also celebrated their Hifz ceremony yesterday as well.

JazakAllah Khair to all the volunteers who helped ensured the Milaad event was a success. A particular mention to the kitchen staff who who preparing the breakfast from 5:30am. May Allah SWT reward our volunteers all abundantly.
