All Saints Church, Alrewas

Our wonderful woodturner and member of the congregation, Mike Jack, has made three beautiful stools from seasoned solid oak.
He is offering them to be auctioned individually by sealed bids during the month of June with all monies going directly to church funds.
The reserve is £50 per stool.
They will be available to view during the concerts tomorrow, at services during June and throughout the Open Gardens weekend.
If you would like to make a bid, please put your name and contact details with the amount offered , in the labelled box at the back of church.
This will be opened on Sunday 28th June at the weekends close. In the event of more identical bids than stools, then a draw will be made for the lucky recipients.
We really hope these outstanding stools go to loving homes!

Our Vicar writes.....

I have been made to feel very welcomed, as myself and my wife Sian have moved into Alrewas.
Thank you to all who came along to the Licencing Service at All Saints Church, at which Bishop Michael licenced me as the Priest in Charge of Alrewas with Fradley and Wychnor.
I am enjoying getting to know people in the local area, and am looking forward to meeting more people at the various church and community events coming up in June- including the Choir Concerts at All Saints on 6th June, the Dedication Service with Bishop Michael and the RAF at St Stephens on the 13th June, the 1st Alrewas Scout Duck Race on the 20th or the Open Gardens weekend.

Our fundraising Summer Concert is now only just over a week away on the 6th June!!
The All Saints Community Choir are busy rehearsing as they have all new music and we also have solos and duets from some very talented locals! There is a real mix of music and you can have a sing along too!
Our new Vicar Jonathan will be on the door to greet everyone and is looking forward to meeting you all! And there is tasty food and a bar too. What's not to like!
All funds go to the upkeep and running of our beautiful church, so do come along to support us!

We are getting everything ready for Revd Jonathan’s licensing service on Friday 22nd May at 5pm. It is so exciting!

We are super excited for this coming Sunday as Rev'd Jonathan Nicholas will be leading his first Communion service with us after his licensing on Friday. We do hope you can join us for this special Pentecost Sunday service as welcome Jonathan and Sian to All Saints!
