Well tonights the night we start with the first practice for our panto. Scripts are written and ready along with all the chorus numbers 🥰 We are so proud of our massive team who go above and beyond to make this such a success. Thanks to everyone who supports the panto Burscough Panto

Hello all, we've had such a busy morning at the foodbank today. Thanks to such a fantastic team for making sure it ran so smoothly. Huge thanks to everyone who dropped off donations, we really needed them ❤️

Here at Burscough Methodist Church we are incredibly lucky to have so many talented individuals who are willing to share their time to help others learn new skills! Our Knit & Natter group have organised a Creative Embroidery Class, everyone welcome & no experience needed! There will supplies available if you don't have your own.

Please come along on Monday 21st September at 9:30am if you'd like to give it a go!

A Prayer for Nepal and Tibet

Loving God,

We pray for all those affected by the floods in Nepal and Tibet.

Be near to those who mourn the loss of loved ones, and to all who wait in uncertainty for news of family and friends.

Hold close those whose homes, livelihoods and communities have been swept away, and all who are shocked, displaced or afraid.

Strengthen rescue workers, local communities, churches and all who are searching, serving and offering care in the midst of this crisis.

Grant courage and resilience to those waiting for news, facing uncertainty, and fearing the days ahead.

As we witness the growing fragility of creation, renew our commitment to care for one another and for the earth of which we are a part.

In the name of Christ.

What an absolutely fabulous final session we had today at our family breakfast & crafts! 🤩😍 We have been overwhelmed at the response & lovely comments. Thank you all for coming & again a huge thank you to our incredible volunteers who have given up their time each week! ❤️❤️
