This evening’s service is a little different in that we are hosting the Mother’s Union Deanery Festival and welcoming MU members from churches in Burnley Deanery. The time is the same at 7pm and it is still Service of Holy Communion. It will be somewhat longer than normal with hymns sung by the joint choirs of St Stephen’s and Worsthorne. As usual, all are welcome young and old including men 😂.

We want to say a massive thank you to all those who attended our lent lunches throughout lent.
We raised a whopping £850 across the whole of lent which will go towards church funds.
Thank you to our amazing volunteers who helped make these lent lunches possible 👏🏻

In early March we are hoping to open a new Rainbow unit at St John's Church. The group will run along side the brownies on Thursdays during term time from 6pm to 7pm..
Rainbows are Girlguiding's youngest section for girls aged 4 (school attendees) to 7 years old.

Looking for something new to try this new year.

We are looking for new members of our church choir.

Rehearsals are Sunday morning 10-11am and then you can join in with the choir during the church service 11.15am onwards.
