Does your child love to sing?

Did you know that singing offers a wide range of benefits for children's learning, development, and wellbeing?

St Mary's is excited to be launching a Children's Choir for children in Year 3 and above. Our aim is to provide a fun, welcoming environment where children can build confidence, make new friends, and develop their musical skills.

Come along to our taster session during Festival Week to see what it's all about! Children will enjoy fun games and songs, while also exploring singing technique and basic music theory in an engaging, age-appropriate way. We hope to inspire a lifelong love of singing and music.

St Mary’s are looking forward to getting into the 90’s spirit during festival week by hosting a school assembly bangers singalong (with Pimm’s and retro sweets!)!

Our 10am family communion service on •Sunday 9 August will include a celebration of 150 years of Mothers Union. All are welcome.

Come and join the Band! Andrew would like to form a worship band to play on Sundays once a month.
Rehearsals will be once a week at times to suit.
No particular ability required just a willingness to participate!
He’s also looking for willing volunteers to help play at Praise in the Park on Sunday 23 August. Please let Andrew know.

•Festival activities:
We’ll be having several activities over festival week to welcome people into the church and Parish Centre, including a family creative morning on Tuesday 25 August and a School Assemblies Bangers concert on the evening of Wednesday 26 Aug.
We’re also hoping to have a scarecrow! If you would be able to help with any of these activities in any way, please get in touch with Zoe.

•Burley Festival Village Prayer Walk will be on Tuesday 18 August: 7pm - 8.30pm, starting with prayer at St Mary's Parish Centre, Station Road, Burley.

Picnic! Gareth is organising a picnic after church on Sunday 16 August. Everyone welcome, please bring your own food, and he will provide some treats and music!
