Christian Aid: Thank you to everyone who supported the Christian Aid Coffee Morning last Saturday, 9 May. We had a wonderful response. There were gifts, cards and Fairtrade items and a very well stocked cake stall. Together we raised an amazing £553.53. Red Christian Aid envelopes are available in church or from the CA committee. It is never too late to give, to one of us or online at caid.org.uk. Janet Squire and the CA committee .

Cuore Chamber Orchestra is fast gaining a reputation as the leading professional chamber orchestra in the north of the country and following spectacular launches in May last year, a season opening concert in September and a first concert in Leeds, the orchestra returns to its roots in Harrogate, performing for the first time in the magnificent grade-I listed St Wilfrid’s Church. The concert, on Saturday 9 May, is a celebration of music by Joseph Haydn, featuring the first ‘Cuore Future Star’ Turkish cellist Cansin Kara. Alongside two Haydn works, the orchestra is playing music by Elgar, Mozart and Malcolm Arnold.
