The Point

The Point The Point Church is a 'Fresh Expression' church, set up in 2004 and is part of the Church of England. The morning service starts at 10.30am.

The Point Church meets on Sunday mornings at St.Paul’s Catholic College, Burgess Hill. We have a bouncy castle for kids from around 10am & coffee cakes served from then too. There is something for everyone on Sunday mornings at The Point. We’ve put lots of effort into making Sunday mornings connect with children and young people. Kids can expect lively worship music, relevantly presented bible sto

ries, craft, games, age appropriate groups where children can encounter God at their own level. Youth have their own venue where they can connect with God and other young people. For adults we have a talk designed to open up the bible and apply it to real life. This is the place where we aim to meet with God in a deeper way through His Word, and where we try to think through our faith in a more rigorous way, followed by a time of worship together through music in a relaxed and welcoming environment. There is also a place for those with under 1s or those who like a smaller quieter venue to watch a live stream of the servicd. Sunday mornings can be a little noisy and busy, so we are really delighted to have some quiet space to offer. We have a prayer ministry team available each week. The prayer space is now open at St Andrew's! We hope you can all make use of this beautiful space at some point this week. Thank you so much to the joint team that put this together. Here are the timings for the rest of the week:

Prayer space general opening times:

Tuesday 26th & Wednesday 27th: 10am – 6.30pm

Thursday 28th: 10am – 4.30pm

Good Friday 29th: 11am – 2pm

Gathered prayer times:

Compline (Evening Prayer): Tuesday & Wednesday 6pm, Thursday 4pm

Morning prayer: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10am

Family prayer time: Tuesday & Wednesday 3.30-4.30pm

Thank you to all who were able to join us yesterday morning for our last Sunday service as The Point Church and also as we said a big thank you to Liz Styles.

Tomorrow is Sunday and we would love to invite you to join for the final Point Service. Our Kids Pastor Liz Styles will be preaching, there will hopefully be a donkey to say good morning to and faith-filled fun for everyone. So if you've never been, nearly always go to church or somewhere in-between we'd love to see you there. The service starts 10:30am, come early to get a drink and a good seat!

This coming Sunday (24th March) is very special for several reasons:
1 - It's The Point's last service at St Paul's College before the merger with St Andrews and the two churches join together.
2 -It's Liz Styles' last Sunday. Liz will be preaching and we will be thanking Liz.
3 - It's Palm Sunday - a great day to celebrate how amazing Jesus is as we get ready for Easter.
Service starts at 10:30am. hot drinks and delicious treats to eat served from 10am, no bouncy castle this week as it has already moved to St Andrew's!
