We have been running a community pantry with the support of a charity, Feed the Hungry every Tuesday from 9.00 am to 12. As of 1 April we are running this totally independently. We are grateful for the support and resources given and we look forward to continuing to support anyone who is in food poverty or needs help that a grocery shop will provide. Alongside this we are open for coffee and refreshments and twice a month we provide a hot meal. Please come and visit us - you will get a warm welcome.

What a great morning we had today - community pantry with coffee morning then joined by children from St Margarets School who came to help out with our Easter meal. The school had taken part in a reverse Lent and collected food for the Pantry. They stacked the shelves before serving the meals. We fed nearly 50 people a 4 course meal and the children then sang to everyone. Alongside a short gospel message - it was a great event. Thank you to everyone involved

We are a growing church in the heart of the community. We offer a coffee morning on a Tuesday morning alongside a community pantry, a toddler group Wednesday mornings from 9.15 to 11.15 (Seedlings) and a crafty cuppa on a Thursday morning from 10 - 12.
As part of our expanding work we have carried out some internal alterations- creating a larger multi- purpose space and a commercial kitchen to enable us to grow our community work. Every third Tuesday we have soup and a roll from 12.15 until 1.30 pm which will continue throughout the winter months. We are grateful for some financial support from Benefact Trust which has enabled us to buy some kitchen equipment. Our recent social celebrating the completion of the work was a great event.

So grateful for the ministry yesterday when we looked at Jesus' prayer on the cross - 'Father forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing'. Very powerful reminder of how much Jesus endured for us.
Next weekend we celebrate harvest - thanking God for his bountiful provision. You are very welcome to come along and celebrate with us. Our Sunday service at 10.45 am.

Looking forward to our social on 7th September - giving thanks for the building work that has been carried out by R & S Construction enabling us to better support the community. There will be food, fun and laughter. If you are connected to the church and it's activities we would love you to join us from 4 - 6 pm. Please let us know if you are coming though.

On Sunday we are holding a thanksgiving service to thank and praise God for His goodness to us. We would love to see you then at 10.45 am on 8th September. May you be blessed
