It is hoped that you had an enjoyable Easter. After beautiful weather last weekend, rain and high winds seem to have been dominant, don’t they?

The Lenborough Benefice Holy Communion Service this week will be held at St Mary’s, Padbury at 10.30 am on Sunday.

There will be a Care and Share Service at Holy Trinity, Gawcott, also at 10.30 am.

Blessings to all staff and students, who return for the start of the Summer Term in many educational establishments, on Monday.

Services in the Lenborough Benefice for Easter Day are as follows:
St Cecilia’s, Adstock - 10.30 am - Holy Communion

All Saints, Hillesden - 10.30 am - Holy Communion

Holy Trinity Gawcott and St Mary’s Padbury are joining together at St Mary’s Padbury, for an ‘All Age Morning Worship Service’ starting at 9 am and followed by Breakfast for Everyone and an Easter Egg Hunt for the children.

You will be made welcome at any of the services.

Yes, it's Mothering Sunday, traditionally the day that those 'in service' were spared from their duties in the 'big house' to go home to visit their mothers. Often, they would take Simnel Cakes with them. Preparations for Easter and perhaps Spring Cleaning, meant that households would be too busy after this time.

Services in Lenborough this weekend are as follows:

10.30 am - Adstock - Morning Worship
10.30 am - Gawcott - Care and Share
10.30 am - Padbury - Holy Communion
Hillesden will be hosting Evensong for the Buckingham Deanery at 6 pm

It goes without saying that you would be welcome at any of the services.

Hello again, just one service in the Lenborough Benefice this week, 10.30 am Holy Communion at All Saints, Hillesden. If you have never visited this ‘Cathedral in the Fields’ you should. The church is amazing and at this time of the year, the daffodils around and about the church are lovely.

There is also Deanery Evensong at Beachampton at 6 pm tomorrow evening, (Sunday).

Don’t forget it is Mothering Sunday next Sunday. Although it is Lent, there will be flowers at the churches for Mothering Sunday. You can see details of the services next week, on the Pew Sheet.
