"Rejoice in all circumstances"

On Sunday 14th June 2026 at 10.30am, we welcome Mike Fernandez of Bruntsfield Evangelical Church, Edinburgh.

We look forward to Mike preaching from Philippians 1:1-14 on the important Christian principle of rejoicing in all circumstances.

Communion will follow the service and a time of fellowship afterward.

Please come along and join us as we worship the Lord for His goodness to us in Christ Jesus.

"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words."
- 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.

Tomorrow at 10.30am we meet to worship God in prayer, song and the reading and teaching of His living word.

Join us as we consider the resurrection of Christ's followers at the time of the end. We will be working from 1 Thessalonians 4, as a basis.

We will benefit from a time of Communion following the service and enjoy some fellowship afterward over a light lunch.

We would love to meet any who are looking for a biblical Church to join or visit.

"Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God." - 2 Thess. 2:3-4

Are we living in the time of the end? Can we even know if we are?

You are most welcome to join us to find out what the Bible says about these things, as we continue our exploration of end time texts.

The service begins on Sunday 31st at 10.30am. There will be tea and coffee afterward.

At 6.30pm we will meet for a time of Communion around the Lord's table. If you believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died for your sin and He has become your Lord and Saviour, you are welcome to join us.

"Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection! The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years."
- Revelation 20:6

Tomorrow at 10.30am we meet to worship God through song, prayer and the reading and teaching of His word.

We will be exploring the subject of "eschatology", the study of the end times.

If you would like to know more, please do come along. We would be delighted to meet you.

A time of Communion around the Lord's table will follow after sermon.

Dear friends -

Thankyou for your interest in our fellowship.

Unfortunately, the service this week (Sunday 17th May 2026) was not recorded with sound.

We apologise for the loss in service.

God-willing, we will back to normal next week.

Grace and peace.

"Let the little children come unto me and do not hinder them! For the Kingdom of heaven belongs to those who are like these children." - Matt. 19:14

On Sunday 17th May at 10.30am, we will welcome Simon Snodgrass from Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) who will provide an update on their work.

Come and hear how God is moving in the lives of young people in these trying days.

Simon will also preach a sermon on Philippians 1:19-26 with the theme of Christ in life-Christ in death."

"to live is Christ, and to die is gain" - Philippians 1:21

There will be a time of Communion around the Lord's table after the sermon and a fellowship lunch will follow.

We are a Bible-believing fellowship who know that God's word is as needed today as it has ever been in turning people away from sin and back to God and providing them with hope through the saving work of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are not perfect people. We recognise our need of Jesus and love to be around others who feel the same way or want to know more about it. Come join us.

"Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did.”-Jn 4:29

We continue in John's Gospel, chapter 4, with the story of the Samaritan woman at the well.

Come and hear how God uses the most unlikely people, not only to save, but to become effective evangelists.

She was an outcast but Jesus looked past this and reached out to her to save her. She then led her entire village to Jesus.

A time of remembrance at the Lord's table will follow afterward, and a short fellowship lunch beyond that.

We begin at 10.30 and would love to meet you if visiting or you are looking to explore a new fellowship.

Sunday 3rd May 2026 at 10.30am.

Jesus came to fulfil the promise given to Abraham by God that all nations would be blessed through his seed.

There are no boundaries to God's love in Christ. God does not wish that any should perish but that all should come to the saving knowledge of His Son, Christ Jesus.

In our service tomorrow, we will explore the story of a woman who lived a promiscuous and idolatrous lifestyle - the Samaritan woman at the well (Jn 4:1-42).

Despite her background, Jesus had a divine appointment with her and invited her to find satisfaction through the waters of life He offered - salvation from sin through faith in Him.

Not only was she saved but many of those of her village also.

A time of Communion and a fellowship lunch will follow the service.
