Join us for worship this Sunday at 10am at St James as we also welcome friends from across the Cheshunt Team.

It's Trinity Sunday, when we celebrate the God we worship: the Father who created us, who came among us in Jesus, and is still at work in the world today by his Spirit.

Come and join us as we worship together, pray, sing, and hear from God's word.

And of course, there'll be tea, coffee, and sausages afterwards in the church hall!

Tomorrow at 10am, our morning worship will include our APCM, or annual meeting. It’s an opportunity to look back over the past year, celebrate all that God has been doing at St James, and look ahead to what might be next for us as a church family.

We’ll begin the morning with coffee, tea, and pastries, and during our worship there will be space to reflect together on the joys and challenges of the past year (alongside our usual hymns, prayers and Bible readings).

Everyone is very welcome to join us, whether you’re new to St James or have been part of the church for many years.

Join us tomorrow at 10am for our monthly All Age Service.

This time we’ll be exploring the story of God’s people in the wilderness - and how God leads us through uncertain times.

Our All Age Services are informal, interactive, and designed with everyone in mind. Whether you’re 3 or 103, have a lifelong faith or are simply curious, you’ll be very welcome.

The wood is ready for the fire, the new Easter candle is all set, the bubbly is chilling in the fridge - we're all set for our Easter vigil tonight at 7:30pm. If you've never been to one before, it's a really special service as we move from darkness to light (quite literally) and mark the first service of Easter. Do join us if you can.

Do come and gather for an 'Hour at the Cross' today at 2pm.The church is open all day for quiet prayer and reflection.

Tomorrow is Mothering Sunday, and also our monthly all-age service at St James.

We’ll be continuing our theme for the year, exploring the story of Abraham and how God used his very human, messy and complicated family as part of his rescue plan.

There will be a chance to give thanks for our families and those who care for us, recognising that these relationships can bring both joy and complexity. As part of the service, flowers will be given to every woman to mark the many ways women care for others.

Our all-age services are informal, interactive, and designed to be engaging and thought-provoking for everyone, whatever your age - all welcome!

Really sorry, but no toddler group this Thursday.

This is just a one off, but Tom and Amy have a commitment with their own kids that can't be moved. We really appreciate your understanding. We have loved welcoming new families recently and we are back from the following week (12th March) for the rest of this term.

This year our Lent course is centred on the brilliant film, 'The King's Speech'.

Starting on Monday 23rd February at 7:30pm, each week we’ll watch clips from a film, read passages from the Bible, and explore together how we can find our voice through the hope we have in Christ.

BUT, if you'd like to watch the film before the course begins then come along to St James tomorrow at 4pm. (Even if you're not planning to do the course, come along anyway!)

Tea/coffee and popcorn provided.
